We used to read three books at night, but lately we've been reading books at breakfast and dinner. So we do at least 3 books during the day, so we usually just read one or two books at night - depending on how awake she is. When we do only one book though, we usually do a long one.

Usually just one or two. We get in more reading time during the day. I think it's more me being exhausted. My kids don't nap so when 7pm rolls around I'm ready to fall over.

Usually 3. Tonight 4 to avoid a meltdown. We've been doing longer books so it's taking way longer.

"Two Books" is what my kiddo asks for, then we may negotiate more depending on the night.
Sooner or later I expect him to ask, "Can I have 10 books?"

I usually limit it to 3, otherwise I'd be in there for hours. I'm pretty sure DH reads a few more than me, though.

2 books when it's early bedtime due to no nap. 3 books is our max and she gets 3 on days that she napped and has a later bedtime
