I told DH to choose wisely with the last one because I wasn't ordering anymore!

40 picture cards and about 15-20 regular cards that may or may not have a 4x6 photo in them

2 sets of grandparents, my aunt, & my biological father all get sent in the mail. 2 more sets of grandparents and both sets of parents get a hand delivered card. That's it. I'm not rich, I have other people I'd rather buy actual gifts for. If you don't get one you probably see pics on FB or my mom sent you something so whatever lol this may change but this is only the second year I've really felt sending something out is expected of me & these are the only people I feel need a picture of us and/or an update on our lives.

I just ordered 30 - nearly all of ours have to go overseas and postage is not cheap! I'm going through my address book and being a bit ruthless right now....

Bought 35, but there was a printing alignment error so they are reprinting and resending them. Now I have 35 that are fine with the exception of that small flaw so I'm going to try and send them all!

We ordered 50 and I think I actually mailed out around 40.

We sent 57. Of course, we had to buy 75, so now I have lots left over. But I refuse to send more than necessary.

I did 40 last year and it wasn't quite enough so I got 60 this year and I still have some to hold on to for people I've forgotten.

I tend to order 50. This year I bought through Costco, 50 for $16.99. I know the quality won't be as good but when you factor in postage, Shutterfly/Tinyprints would have been about $100 for sending out 50 cards! I keep a spreadsheet address book and I actually mark who we get cards from, too. I tend to send out about 45 but there are always a couple I receive that I didn't think to send to. If I NEVER get a card in return (like for 3 years) and it is not an elderly family member, I don't send one. Probably a bit harsh but with the expense...
For context, my dad is from a family of six, and I grew up very close with all of my cousins on both sides, so just cousins/aunts/uncles alone are at least 25 of my cards!

I ordered 40 expecting to have extras. Got a deal and only paid $14!

Just send out 50 this morning. We just finished addressing the L section of our address book. I bought 100 this year, but last year only needed 75 ish.

I did 75, but I just ordered 15 more.

We bought 125. I think we'll have 10-15 left over.
