We're on lo's third cold. Ugh. I love her daycare but hate how often she gets sick!
I stayed home with her today because she was so stuffy & neither of us rested well last night.
What about your LO?

LO started daycare at 11 months. She has been in daycare for almost 3 months now and has only had a serious cold (with low-grade fever) once. She's had two cases of the runny nose, but nothing that needed tylenol.
When i was at home with her, she only got sick once.

DD started daycare at 5 months, in October. I swear it seemed like she had one constant cold from November till about February. She's had 2 ear infections, and pink eye twice. But she's been pretty good since spring started!

DS has been in daycare for 10 months. He has had so many colds I've lost count. He pretty much had a runny nose all winter. Just remember, they are building their immune systems now and won't get as many colds once they start school!

He's only had runny noses so far (knock on wood!) he's been in daycare for 6 weeks and is 4.5 mo old. He got his first really bad cold from my husband while I was on maternity leave.

They say that the first 6 months of daycare is just recycling a cold over and over again and I found that to be true with LO. She started daycare at 12 months and was sick on and off with a cough/cold for 6 months but by the time she was 18 months, she was good! She's now 22 months and hasn't been sick in a long time *knock on wood*.
