I guess I'm just trying to pass TWW time, and I've prolly asked this question in some way in the past, but anyways...
If you had a miscarriage, how many cycles (not months, but legit cycles) did it take you to get your next BFP? Was it the same, less, or more than with previous BFP?

I had 3 cycles til my first BFP, and I'm in TWW for 2nd cycle post-MC and so hopeful I will have the same timeline or less.

I voted and then thought maybe I marked the wrong answer.
It took one cycle TTC after my mc to get my BFP, but I waited 3 full cycles before TTC.
We decided to try again and it stuck! I never thought that was going to happen again. It happened last time we TTC as well.

My first BFP took 9 cycles, and the second took 6 (and an HSG halfway through). Both times I was on my first full month of herbs from an acupuncturist then from a ND.
Hoping that this third time is much quicker! It turns out I have autoimmune issues that might be impeding implantation.

My first bfp happened on our first try, I miscarried that pregnancy and got another bfp on our second cycle after that. That baby is now 4 months old

It took me 10 cycles to get my first BFP. I miscarried, and got my second 3 cycles later.

I voted 4 cycles but those 4 ate up 9 months of time due to fertility issues we didn't know I had before mc. The first time I got my BFP first cycle off bc.

First BFP after 3 months. Miscarried. Second BFP 7 cycles later. Miscarried again. Now I'm 8 weeks pregnant with #3 after another 4 cycles!

Had to go check FF because I don't remember the number of cycles, just months (my cycles are really long, 45-50 days)
The first time we TTC, I got pregnant after 3 cycles, then miscarried. It took 5 cycles to get pregnant again.

I got of on the first try, miscarried, took a cycle off, and then got pg on the first try again and now have an 8 month old.

@runnerd: I'm liking this too. Especially since it looks like almost every one took as many or fewer cycles. Granted my first only took one, so it couldn't be less, but still. Seeing that it doesn't seem to make it harder at least is comforting.
And fingers crossed that both of us can come back and vote very soon!

First bfp after about 10 months of NTNP (not sure how many cycles as they were wonky after bcp). After the m/c we immediately started fully ttc and got the sticky bfp on the second cycle.

Sorry, I'm one of those girls...I have gotten BFPs on every cycle we have tried. I got a bfp in April, lost the baby the next day, and was told we didn't have to wait to try again. I got another bfp a fee weeks later, carried that baby for 6 weeks, and lost it. We took the next cycle off, and I had my HSG the following cycle. I got my bfp during the cycle I had my HSG and am now 6+3.

My first BFP we were NTNP so not sure how that counts. I had a m/c in mid march and didn't get a d&c until late April trying to wait to miscarry naturally. First cycle after m/c started in May and got my BFP this month after 3 cycles!

Hmm. Should I put one or two? We were ntnp the first bit after m/c, because I didn't know when I'd O or anything. First cycle really trying got BFP (today!). So... I think I consider it one?

@runnerd: I had one cycle, but it took a couple months for that one cycle to show up. I think we missed the BD'ing on the ovulation day for that cycle because DH was away, but we got it done (ha!) on the second cycle right after.
I didn't d/c or take meds for my m/c. We never found a heartbeat and it took a few weeks to miscarry after that. It was a hard few weeks. But I think that also further delayed return to regular cycles.

@Espion: I did have a D&C but am a lot like you that it took me awhile to get normal cycle and I don't know if I ovulated (took 3 months to have my period), so that why I was curious about cycles... I'm 5-6 months out, but only on my 2nd cycle

two months once i started ovulating. it took 3 cycles or so before i figured out that was going on. After the second m/c, i got pregnant the second cycle (even though we were taking a break!)
my doc warned me that you can be more fertile after a m/c...
