Our pre-school only has two official parties a year. One for Thanksgiving, and one Holiday party. The parents sign up to bring lunch items, decorations, and dessert, and the kids sing a seasonal song for us, and we all eat. My DS's toddler room doesn't have parties, it's only for early childhood. It's weird because there are no other parties for the rest of the year, and the only two that we have occur within one month of each other!
