Obviously it depends on how complicated our meals are those days but assuming basic breakfasts and eating some leftovers we can push it to 3 days. If for some reason we do there are typically a few hand wash items in there but everything can be handled in one dishwasher load and one drying rack.

If I do an elaborate dinner and bake cookies though forget it, we will fill the dishwasher with just those dishes.

2 days of three meals a day, and my husband's 600 water glasses and coffee cups.

I handwash most pots and pans.

Wow, we can't even get through a whole day - I wash up after breakfast and again after lunch, and then run the dishwasher after dinner. It is a pretty small dishwasher! I have a bit of a thing about the dishes though - my whole house can be covered in mess, but I cannot go to bed with dishes in the sink!

depends on what we're eating. we grill out a lot so our whole dinner can consist of 3 plates. Obviously if I'm cooking I use a lot more dishes. I'd say 1-3 days. Usually we run out of room on the top rack first because we go through a lot of bowls and mugs and glasses.
