DH and I work slightly different hours and have in-home care, so LO has childcare for 40 hours a week. We are lucky to have our current situation. I was reading the other thread and amazed at some of the 12-hr days these kids might be doing at daycare! It's so hard, with a long day and a long commute. How many hours a week or day is average for your LO?

Around 40. Sometimes a little more. DH drops her off around 8:15-8:30 and I pick her up around 4:30-4:45.

I work(ed) a rotation, so it varied weekly, but it was typically 9 days a month for just under 9 hours a day. Dropped off at 9am, picked up between 545-6pm.

50. This sucks. I'm only OK with it because I'm hanging out with DD all night as it is... I'm too tapped out to also parent during the day.

i WAH PT hours, so DD1 goes for 14 hours/wk.

About 50. My husband drops B off just before 7 and I pick him up at 4:45.

I voted on 40 becausse it's just over that. I drop her off at 730 and pick her up just after 4.

Right now, DH is only working a remote independent contractor type position, so he's only in daycare three days a week. So between 25-30. If it were based off my work schedule it'd be 45-50 hours.

I voted 40 but it's probably around 35 hours. It depends on my schedule and when I can I drop him off later and pick him up earlier! The rest of the time he spends with his papa! So it's a nice change!

We have longer days and shorter days, but on average she's there for about 7.5 hours per day, so about 37 overall.

45 hrs from 9-6p. Sometimes before 9 if I got an earlier meeting.

I am on Mat leave so I bumped her down to 3 days. She is generally there about 7 hours a day so roughly 20 hours or so a week. Our daycare hours are 7:30-4:30 but I just can't get organized with the baby to get her there much before 9.

About 51, I accidentally voted 60 though. She loves it there and I think she'd stay forever if that were an option. Never ready to leave at the end of the day.

Drop off is between 8-9 and pick up 5-6, and she's there 4 days, so between 32-40

About 40. DH does drop off around 8:30, and I am usually there by 4:30/4:45 for pick up.

I voted 40 but I would say it is between 38-45 depending on the week. Try to drop off 8/8:15 and pick up 4:15/4:45, earlier on Fridays. This is when I am on the only one doing drop off/pick up. When dh has a lighter schedule he will ick up early.

45-50 depending if DH or myself picks him up.
I drop him off about 7:30 every morning. If DH gets him it is 4-4:30 usually and I I get him it is just after 5. Luckily I usually only have to do pick up 1-2 times a week and if we are lucky none.
