On a good night I'll get about 6 straight hours of sleep, wake to pee, and an additional 2. 8 total.

On a good night I get 6? That's if she sleeps till 2 or 3 am. Then wske again usually 1-2 hours later. Lately she doesn't want to go back in her crib after a 4am nurse so I'm stuck holding her. On a really good night she'll go back in her crib!

On a good night I can get a solid 6.5-7hours. But usually it's 5 hours, wake to pee, then 1.5 more hours.

5-6 on a good night . . . that will all change in a few weeks though (when butterbean arrives)!

before pregnancy, i would get 7 to 8 hours. right now at 17 weeks pregnant, i'm going through a very sleepy phase and getting more like 8 to 9. and i still feel like it's not enough! i know it will all change in several months, so i should enjoy it now.

4-12! Sometimes I do not know what hits me and I sleep forever, but most days I have insomnia!

I'm in bed for 8-9 hours, but I'm sleeping for maybe 7 of those. 2 hour stretches, with lots of waking up to pee, roll over, take the covers from DH.

About 6 or 7. With a feeding somewhere in there..
Before I had my son I would sleep 9-10 hours. Sleep was a huge priority of mine!

I feel totally hung over if I don't get 8 hours, but the past few weeks of this pregnancy (I'm 24 weeks today), I'm starting to get increasingly worse insomnia!
I am lucky to get 6 or 6.5 lately bc I'll wake up to pee at least 2x in the night, and she'll be kicking when I get back in the bed, and I'll be hungry too, and UGH! Can't go back to sleep!
Sometimes hunger wakes me up too, and she almost always is really active when this happens. Like she's in there throwing a fit going "FEED ME!!!"

I go to bed late. Around midnight, so I sleep about 7 hours with 2x wakings.

6 is probably my average. I tend to go to bed around 11:30 and wake up before 6.

Not enough! Or at least that's how it feels lately...
I try to go to sleep between 9:30/10 and wake up at 6:30, but LO seems to have move her wake up time to 6. We are down to one night feeding but other night wakings are unpredictable, although they seem to be calming down...knock on wood!

About 5-6 hours of sleep a night. Baby boy needs to learn to sleep through the night! Mama is tired at work
pomegranate / 3053 posts
On average 7 hours with one feeding in between. Not bad except last night or more like this morning LO decided to not sleep for 2 hours so I had to nurse back down at 7:30am so I can get another hour of sleep. Hope to not repeat tonight. I'm tired.

This thread is haunting. 9-11 hours but they are broken/disturbed at least several times a night because of peeing, heartburn, and a noisy DH.
cantaloupe / 6751 posts
First stretch is usually 5-6 hours, wake up to nurse, then back to sleep for another 1-2 hours. Sigh. I would do anything for a solid 8 hours
pomegranate / 3383 posts
Probably 7-8 hours. I go to bed around 9:30-10 and my LO is an early riser (granted he goes to bed super early too!).

8-9 not including the bouts of pregnancy insomnia I deal with a few times a week. Ask me again in four months and my answer might be different.

On a good night, I get a total of 6 hours - 2 hour nap on couch, pump and shower, 2 hours, wake to DD's middle of night nursing, 2 hours, then DD is up for the day. Wow typing it out and reading that makes me tired. =\
