37.5 - Its a strange number but that what how all salaried employees work.

I used to work 50-60, but now it's more like 40-50. I"m hoping to keep it strictly at 40 once the twins arrive.

32 at one job, 21 at the second job and then teaching at night which is about 20 hours a week. Yeah I am crazy. Just not sure which one to drop

24. Technically, I work three full days a week, though it ends up being a little over the weekend too.
Tbh, I produce more deliverables than anyone on staff. I think being there only a few days makes me buckle down more. It will be interesting to see how they deal with my mat leave!

45 (8-5, no real lunches). Plus I'm in an online class half for work, half for personal growth that takes 6-8 hours a week. Some weeks I mentally count it as work, some weeks I dont.

I can bill for no more than 40, but some weeks I may work more or less.

I currently am working 28/week, but looking for something full-time!

Crazy to think 3-5 years ago I was working 80 or more hours every week! Now I don't work more than 50 since daycare is 730-530. I do occasionally work from home.

I charge 25 hours a week... 2 days in the office and the rest from home logging in some time on the other three days.

About 35 hours a week but that doesn't count lesson planning, grading and other after school commitments.

35, but I wish I could drop down to 32 hours spread out over four days.

I work M-F, 8:30-4 with an hour for lunch...so 32.5 hours. It's a pretty sweet deal

@matador84: 80? That's crazy! What line of work are you in?

24 (two 12 hour shifts, either day or overnight). It is really perfect for our family.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I used to be a girl's coach for volleyball/basketball/track in addition to my classroom...so I would have practices in the AM and PM, plus games and night and scouting on weekends.

None but I would love to work sat/sun or something like that! (Dh works weekends too.) I think 2 days per week would be great for me and still good for our family. 5 days a week was a lot with dh's schedule (although that's not actually why I didn't stick it out.) Hard to find that schedule though!
@jedeve: go you! Hope everything is going better with the visitors!

@matador84: I was also working about 75 hours a week a few years ago. Yikes!
Now I only work 40-45 hours a week. Some weeks are more and some are less, depending on my workload.

My contract time is 40 hours but starting in August I'm dropping to 32. Pretty excited!

My work hours are 9 to 5 Monday- Friday (sometimes later), but I'm probably really working about 5 hours/day most of the year.
I own my own business though, so I can work as little/much as I want within reason.
But in my busiest time (November-December) I work more like 8 to 8 during the week, plus a few hours on the weekend.

I voted other because I work a rotation. I work 10.5 hour split shift days ( ugh.) But, I work 5 on 5 off 4 on 4 off. So it's different all the time. ( that is, that's what I will be working when I go back next month. )

Um, other...
When I teach, I'm in the classroom about 5 hours a week, plus 2 hours of office hours, plus grading and prep time. But, I am also being paid to go to school and write. Some weeks, I could do that 20 hours, some it could be much, much more. This year, I'm reading for my exams, so at least 8 hours a day. The good news is that I don't have to be in an office to do it. The bad news is that means there is always more I can-and should- be doing
But tomorrow, I start summer work, and that is a much more straightforward 42.5 hours a week

45ish hours per week "at work", but I'm pretty much on call all the time so I'm constantly checking my blackberry for messages regardless of where I am or what I'm doing. So that's many more hours per week that I'm managing things from wherever I happen to be.
Maternity leave should be interesting...for them! I'm not checking it then!

40, but I'm at work for 9.5 hours a day (I get an hour lunch and 2-15 minute breaks). I work for the state, and don't work overtime or anything....I will be yelled at if I'm still at my desk after 5pm on the dot.

Usually 40, but when we are in the middle of quarter-close it can be closer to 50-60. I work in corporate accounting.

I work 38 hour weeks M-Th so they are long days but I love having Fridays off!
