How many nursing sessions does your LO have per day, especially if they are on solids? LO2 has been on solids for a while now but I always wonder how many nursing sessions are enough. Sometimes she just "snacks" during a nursing session (even when nursing before a meal), so I want to make sure she is getting enough BM throughout the day.

When LO first started solids until 10+ months she was nursing 6+ times a day. She's 15 months now and nurses 2-3 times a day.

12 months, and we are at 4 times a day.

This doesn't help you, but my 4 day old nursed 16 times yesterday. -crying- DD1 stayed at 6 sessions a day for most of her first year.

LO is 5 months and nurses around 8 times a day, including 1 night wake up. He doesn't get solids consistently but we plan on starting soon, so I expect him to drop a feed or two.

Miss A was still having 6-10 sessions within a 24 hour timeframe until she was a toddler.

14 months & 2 to 3 times a "day". Usually before bed, once in the middle of the night (eye roll, at least that one is short!) & when she gets up for the day. Sometimes she will ask in the middle of the day. I usually try to distract, redirect or offer her real food instead but there are a few occasions when she's persistent & gets a 4th session in there.
