She's 2-3 weeks old, right? LO went through a phase right around then where she got really angry any time we put her down awake. I think she went through a growth spurt and that's also kind of when she started the uphill swing of the fussy newborn stage. There were times when the Moby saved my life too.

LO will be 10 weeks on Tuesday and I would say over the last 2 or so weeks is when she has spent a lot of time awake and alert and can entertain herself in the swing or the bouncer for a while and let me gets things done. She discovered the mirror on the bottom of the mobile on her swing and she is in LOVE with it. She can spend a good 30 minutes babbling and smiling at herself. She's also more aware of her surroundings and spends a lot of time just chilling and looking around the house at everything. I never knew furniture was so fascinating! lol

If she's at all tired or hungry, she hates to be put down and will scream still though.

It gets better, friend. I promise it does.

Lala is still like that :o! (It's just her personality).

But take heart, every month it got a little better. We used the bouncy chair for 5 min, then 10, and so on. By the time she was 6 months we were getting a whole dinner prep out of the bouncy chair and the exersaucer could get us another 30!

with both my girls they would play happily for a little while if they were bottomless!

My LO is 7 weeks and she's the same way. Today I sat next to her on the couch and put her on her Boppy. She sat there until she fell asleep. Even though I had to sit next to her and constantly replace her paci I was so excited I immediately sent DH a text describing my accomplishment Haha ... It's the little things ... I hope she grows out of it. Everyone, especially some friends of ours tells me I'm spoiling her and that I should just let her cry. I'm just not comfortable with that at this point.
