haha. 6 total that I remember. (all dogs)
I'm not counting hamsters, birds and bunnies. oh shoot. I just read your post and you don't consider them pets either. phew! hahahaah

6, not including 2 hamsters or any fish I had as a kid.

Calico cat when I was 5- Stacey
Gerbil when I was 9- Ginger (she had babies, became paralyzed and my sisters gerbil began lactating and fed them after Ginger was put to sleep by the vet) I count this one because of the situation- it was very memorable.

These pets lived with my grandparents 20 min away because they lived out in the country:
Orange cat when I was 7- Lucky
Collie when I was 10- Buddy

Then I got my half Siamese cat, Oliver, for myself as a college graduation gift when I was 20.

So, 5 pets total?

@mrbee: ahhhhhhhh i loved remington steele!!!!! hahah. I had a love bird that I named Murphy.. lol

We had too many to count! We lived in the country and always had a lot of pets. We even had a guinea adopt us and live with the cats.

4 dogs- I remember their names!

We have two dogs now, DH used to have a dog he grew up with...

Aside from that my brother and I were only allowed to have goldfish growing up. In Korea we used to have bunnies and ducks. So I guess, six? Seven if I count DH's childhood dog.

I had a couple beta fishes as a kid, but couldn't keep them alive past a week! We've had 3 dogs - Wrigley aka Wrigs (Jack Russell), Comet (yellow lab), and Molly (pomeranian/yorkie mix).

I count all my pets!

Dogs:
A Weimaraner named Max, who died when I was 9ish
A black lab named Mikey and a Weimeraner named Nickel, both of whom died when I was in high school
Now, a dog named Rosie (lives with us)

Cats:
A calico named Sabrina who was so mean, when I was little. We had to get rid of her
Now, a cat named Andy (lives with us)

Other:
Two goldfish named Henry and Henrietta (Henrietta died really soon after we got her but we had Henry for like a year and then he died mid-poop!)
Two other goldfish whose names I can't remember who both died really quickly
A gerbil named Martin (after the television show!)

We had a beagle named Snoopy, a cat named Miss Kitty, a cockerpoo named Scruffy (who has since been sainted by my family as the best dog ever, she lived for 17 years) another cat, Hairy. Two horses Sonatina (Nikki) and Amadeus (Silver) and my current two boxers Chilly and Leah!
