I have way too many... maybe 6 or 7 bookcases worth. Doesn't really work for city living!
How many physical books do you own?

We have tons. Every time I come home with a physical book he rolls his eyes and says we have a kindle you know.

I only have like 10 physical books, but DH has tons! He was part of this book club for a while and they sent him books every month! They are all classic books in a really nice hardcover though, so at least they look pretty on the shelf. DH only got a couple of chapters into Moby Dick, haha.

Probably 2 tall bookshelves full of them. Sadly, my husband doesn't read books so it's just my books. I have donated a lot recently, though.

I have quite a few at my parent's house. At my own home, we might have half a bookshelf worth? I miss having the luxury of just reading for leisure!

Hmmm... we have one tall bookcase that's overflowing, plus four short ones. And books piling up on top of bookcases, coffee table, dining table... Probably not thousands like @Andrea, but hundreds, certainly!

quite a bit... I have this thing against throwing books away. They've been in boxes for years though, I told DH I want to buy a bookcase for them.

We have a lot! 3 tall bookshelves in the basement, boxes in the attic and two bookcases in my office. We love to read!

I've never counted, but it's at least 200-300. I'm a HUGE reader. We've got a giant IKEA bookshelf in the foyer, and bookcases in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. I can't get rid of them, because I love to re-read books.

Thousands.
Everything else I own (clothes, shoes, decor items, etc) will fit into 2-4 suitcases, but my books require a huge crate.
When we move overseas, we take everything BUT the books in our checked luggage, and then the books require a crate to be shipped by sea.

I got rid of about 500 when I moved in with SO.
Between us we probably have 4 tall bookcases full.

We have... 10-12 bookcases full? I inherited some, bought a bunch, and DH owns a ton, too. Our dream house will have it's own library.

We pared down a lot when we moved, then some more this weekend because we had to make room on the bookcase for some cubes to hold board games and other things that didn't have a home. We have a 4x4 expedit and it's about 75% filled with books. Then I have a few in our bedroom. So maybe around 100?

Thousands for sure. I love books. Sometimes I even buy a book I've taken out of the library because I love it so much and want to own it. I worked in publishing for a time after college so I amassed quite a collection during that time, too.

Hundreds! I keep sorting through and giving books away but they keep growing! We literally have stacks of books all over our apartment. I use paperback swap to get rid of some, donate, all sorts of things. The problem is that I read too fast.

Wow! We only have one bookcase and we don't even read those books. I keep slowly getting rid of mine, but DH refuses to get rid of his. If I'm not going to read them, they need to go.
