I've easily taken 18 this time. Probably 10 wandfo tests, 6 frer, 2 clear blue. And when I ran out I used ovulation tests to see how dark they were. Clearly, I have a problem! How many tests did you take in your most recent pregnancy?

Haha you sound like me I think I had 6 wondfos left and 5ish FRER and then 2 clear blue digitals (the first one was negative at 9/10 dpo).
Anddd that's basically how the rest of my pregnancies went too (3 previous ones)

3 or 4. The first two were expired and I just didn't believe they were right. So I went a bought a new two pack but can't remember if I took both or still have one. It was very dark by the time I tested so no abiguity.

One. It was unplanned, shocking, and frankly terrifying at 7 months pp. I didn't want to take more. (Now I look at DS2 and think, How could I ever have been afraid of you!!)

One. I waited until I was two days late to test and I was pretty sure I was pregnant.

I think maybe 5 or 6 this time. It was less than usual because I started testing later since it was unplanned (but I just had a feeling). I got positives for 3 or 4 straight days before I really believed it and stopped testing. In the past I've definitely started earlier and used more though.

I think with all 3 of my pregnancies I only took one each time. I waited until I was a few days late each time and was fairly certain I was pregnant.

I wanted TTC to be fun and not stressful, so I went into TTC assuming it was going to take a while and not in any rush. So not doing a lot of testing and just waiting to see what happened helped keep things relaxed.

Exactly 1. I should add I had an apt with the RE the next day to start infertility treatments. So, I knew she would probably do a blood test anyways, and nothing was going to change between 5pm when I took the test, and 9am the next morning!

@JenGirl: I would love to be carefree about it but I've had so many losses, it is impossible to be easy breezy about it!

@knittylady: that was exactly my reaction. Just the one positive one at five months pp. I was so terrified I didn't need more proof.

@winniebee: I'm so sorry about your losses. We were very lucky that we didn't have any issues. Even though we started out trying to keep it relaxed, I know that would have been much harder or impossible had we had to deal with losses.

2, needed to make sure that the expired one was accurate. My period was also due that day, so I wasn't really surprised with the positive.

2 - one at 9 DPO which was negative and then one at 13 DPO which was positive. With twins you might have expected a blazing positive but it didn't look different to the tests with LO1 & LO2. So he surprise was real on that first ultrasound.

One. Once I see the positive, I'm done. I also don't test until my period is due or late.

2. The first one said I was pregnant, but I used another one to make sure there wasn't something wrong with the first one. It was unplanned, so I was in shock!

3, I think. A wondfo, a rapid response to confirm, and a wondfo the next day because I still didn't believe it! These O-5 babies really sneak up on you

With ds I took quite a few. Took digital week predictor ones for a couple weeks too. I did all that with my second pregnancy and it ended in mc and everything appeared the same as my first.
With my second I took a cheapie and an FRER two days or so before my period was due and then the day it was due. I think that's all I took. So 4!

@winniebee: Can you believe not even one?! With IVF, I had plenty of betas but I was too freaked out in the early days that I would see something on the hpt that would scare me even more. Then by the time I felt confident in the pregnancy, I forgot I had tests to even use. So none!

Only one, both times. Although the first my mil, who is a med tech, ran a blood test to confirm.

@winniebee: wait, wait, youre pregnant again?!!!!! I missed this great news! Yayyyyyy!!!!

With this pregnancy (#3), I took two tests alone, two with DH, and one more just to make sure they other 4 were correct. The test line was blazing pink!

Two. The service one only because I realized the first test was expired.

@pachamama: I am! Not quite 6 weeks along. Very nervous about everything!

I would say on average per pregnancy I take 3! If I test early its usually only a day before my supposed period, and other than that I wait until after, otherwise, I'll just keep wasting money on tests because I don't keep cheapies on hand!

1st pregnancy 1 test
2nd one- 2. (1st one was faulty) I'm really tempted to poas again some time next week just to make sure!
