I am really struggling with this question right now. My LO started daycare at 3 months old and has been there for a month now. She is there for about 10 hours everyday. I feed her in the mornings before I drop her off but am still struggling to determine how much milk to leave for her.

We started with four 4 oz bottles. We figured this allows her to eat about every two to three hours. It seems to work out ok but she's not sleeping well at night and the daycare thinks she could eat a bit more.

I have heard breastfed babies should drink about an ounce per hour or up to about 30 ounces per day when they are between one and six months old. If she's getting 16 ounces during the day from four feedigs I'm sure she is getting about that in the time she is home from her four nursing sessions (dinner, bed time, middle of the night, and breakfast). She is now waking up twice per night though which is frustrating.

Any suggestions?!
