So it looks like our breastfeeding journey has come to an end. Well almost. DD turned one last week and I officially stopped pumping but was planning to nurse for bedtime for as long as she wanted. The last few nights she's been taking a bottle of cows milk before bed and was able to go sleep without a nursing session! Happened sooner than I thought but I'm looking forward to having my body back. She still wakes up once in the middle of the night for a quick nursing session though. Bad habit I know! Now that it seems like we've pretty much fully transitioned to cow's milk, how much do you give a one year old?? Currently we've been giving four 5oz bottles of cows milks and she finishes it all. I'm waiting to transition her to a sippy cup when we return home. We're in the middle of traveling now and I want to take one transition at a time. Momma can't handle so much change! Haha!
