We've only ever taken her to free ones. You can bring your own DSLR and take pictures. Some they take and are free courtesy of the town/village!

I paid in August so I can't remember? $55 or $60 for a package with the digitals and lots of prints.

@regberadaisy: Oh, free ones?!? I'll have to look into those. Thanks for the tip!

$40. It included 2 -4x6, 1-8x10, 8 wallets and a digital file. We could have gone somewhere free but I was with a group of friends and we all wanted to go together.

About the same. I think it's ~$40 for digital file, CD, and a copy 5"x7".

@bluestriped bee: yes! Most commonly offered through local towns and village boards. So, check there first.

$15 for one photo. $10 for any additional. You get a 5x7 and online access to the digital file to download. We got two, one of LO and a family photo.

We just went and didn't realize how iy worked... It was 30$ and that was the only package. One large two medium 8 small. Way more than I wanted, especially since baby cried and I personally am not into the funny factor of sad crying it babies with Santa. He doesn't usually cry so he was obviously terrified of this strange giant man. I felt horrible! Of course he's fine now. We also felt like we had to pay cause we didn't understand how it worked, you actually can't use any personal cameras or phones. Then he had the photos printed out and we felt obligated. In hindsight we totally could have said no thank you.
Eta it was obviously intentionally sneaky, we looked back and the price wasn't posted anywhere.

It was free at a local toy store. They take pictures on an iPad and email them to you. You can also take pictures on your own camera. They take donations for a toy drive and Santa delivers the toys.

$15! It was at a nice mall with a "good" Santa. $15 was the cheapest package, got a 5x7 with it and pretty much unlimited pictures with my own camera (iPhone). Oh and it came with two tickets to ride Santa's train. Great deal if you ask me! Previous years we sprung for the packages that came with a cd....um, our laptop doesn't have a cd drive lol.

$15 for one at the mall. We also have a few free ones from school, events, or our camera. We always do the mall one because it has always been the same Santa.

We went to a free one. Really great true beard Santa with a nice setting. Great first experience for our LO.

Our favourite photographer does Santa sessions, they start at $75 for 30 minutes, and 1 kid (each additional is $25), you get 5 high res images (though she actually sent us 32 this time LOL). The pictures are amazing though!

$22 for two 4 by 6 prints. That included a shutterfly gift card. LO is obsessed with Santa and there was no one in line so she talked to him for probably 10 minutes and was just beaming. That was worth the money to see her so happy!

$30 and we got 1 5x7, 2 3.5x5 and 8 wallets.
There was a couple different packages to choose from but this was the best so we could send to grandparents aunties. And they printed us an extra 5x7.
We are also going to a free one this weekend.
Last year we just did the free one and then all I had was one photo and couldn't send it to the grandparents.

$30 for a bunch of prints and digital downloads at a mall in Hawaii. Santa in a Hawaiin shirt was the only reason I did them.
