Like, at one meal? LO is crazy about all fruits right now, but mostly strawberries, grapes and blueberries. She would probably eat them forever if we let her!
How much do you give? About half an adult portion? Less? (she is 12 months)

I don't worry about it and always give it at the end of a meal and until she starts to throw them, then I know she's done. She ate a whole can of mandarin oranges the other week (3.5 servings per can) and will go through tons of peaches.

We usually don't limit fruit, but like @blackbird try to give at the end of a meal. DD eats a ton of it! Sometimes I think it causes a bit of diaper rash, but there are worse things for her to eat a lot of so we just go with it.

@blackbird: @mkp17: oh okay! I just worry that she'll feel poorly if she eats too much fruit!

we had to limit DD's strawberry or any fruit that was too acidic because it would cause her really bad diaper rash.
I we also gave them at the end of her meal so she wouldn't over do fruit

I give fruit at the end of a meal. I don't give too much because my kids always get the runs when they overeat fruit in one sitting.

@illumina: We haven't had that happen! I always slather on the diaper cream.....she always seems to feel fine.

Same as others, I usually give it at the end of the meal so she eats enough of other stuff first, but in general I don't worry about limiting it. The few exceptions when I do limit it are: banana- never more than a whole one, because it can be constipating and she has struggled with that, plus a whole banana seems like plenty!; blueberries- as much as she wants in one sitting but usually not more than once a day since the poop is gross; anything super acidic, for diaper rash, but I still will give an entire adult portion before I stop her.
She hasn't seemed to be uncomfortable as long as I follow those limits. She loves fruit too- her birthday cake she just picked the blueberries off the top and ignored the cake and frosting.
