Poor Smokey is sooooo lonely. Charlie chases her so she hides all day until he goes to bed. So the only time I spend with her is a little bit at night because she is scared to come downstairs where our bedroom is after she fell 10 feet the first day we moved here.
How much time do you spend with your pets each day? Are they lonely since your LO was born?

in the ams, it's usually brief to let them, feed them, etc...
in the evenings, we are always cuddling, playing, interacting with them.
on my wfh days, i try to spend more time with them too.

Not enough since he spends all day by himself from 7am to around 6pm. I feel guilty about it all the time. Hopefully he'll have more company when the baby comes.

My cats are so spoiled. Seriously they are constantly right by my side all day if I am home. And they have to sleep right on me or near me. I actually love it.

all day! i mostly work from home, so he lays on/beside me all day. we play for a little bit, but he gets tired so quickly. he is so lazy and cuddly.

We don't have LOs, so we treat our puppy like he is our child. He was crated 8am-4pm today and I felt sooo bad. We have been loving on him and took him to the dog park to make it up to him.
One of my coworkers said to me just yesterday that when we have kids, we will forget all about him. It's probably true!

Both are cats sleep with us at night. During the day they go outside because Mavrick runs after them. They get their fair share of cuddling though. 1 sleeps on me, the other on DH.

lately my dog has been making me NUTS. he throws up every morning between 4-6, depending..it's really, really annoying. it's not like it's something he's eating because he's been on the same food forever. we think it's either anxiety (when DH leaves..his alarm goes off 4:30 and he snoozes til 5:15) or being woken up and is hungry. but..nothing seems to be working, there's no predictability to what day it'll happen, and we have wall to wall bedroom carpet. recipe for disaster, seriously.
typically, though, i just feed him and let him out in the morning, go to work (only 6 hours) and then he gets attention when we're home. he'll have mooore than enough when the baby comes because I won't be working!

I spend lots of time with my dog. Now that LO is older we do get out of the house more, but we try to take him with us on the weekends if we go out to eat or go somewhere.
Now that we have LO I think he likes when we leave him alone for a bit. It gives him a break from her.

I spend a lot of time with my dogs, especially in the afternoons. They are constantly bringing me toys and putting them in my lap or sleeping next to me.

My cat doesn't like DH so the only time he gets attention is when he nuzzles/snuggles with me at night in bed (apparently a sleeping DH doesn't bother him). The dog gets attention in the morning and evening, DD gives her a lot of attention including a hug/kiss every morning before we leave the house.

On weekdays out pup is alone from 7:30 until 4:30... It kills me to leave her some mornings! We (DH) walk her before work and then again when we get home. I try to make outdoor activity plans in the evenings after work that the three of us can do together and will usually turn down invites to dinner or for after work drinks during the week because I feel guilty enough for the time she's been alone in her puppy cave (our basement is daytime space...)
On weekends she gets a long walk each morning.
And if we are on the couch/bed she's right there with us... Usually lying on too of me.... All 58 lbs of her!
She loves loves loves little kids, so I'm excited to have children to grow up with her!!

they want morning and evening cuddles, but they have each other to play with. most of the time, they're content to just be near me on the couch, not all over me
