Never heard of that show but I have seen "A Baby Story" on TLC. Is it like that? I'm sure the people on it do get paid some, but probably not enough for me lol!
I'd have trouble turning it down for over 30k.

I don't know that show… do they show vag? lol If my modesty was protected and it was just the annoyance of having a camera guy and perhaps me looking like shit and saying unflattering things….. not that much. Maybe 20k? If its one of those shows where they would show boobs or vag… there is no amount.

I think I'd do it for around $50K. Generally people who watch that show watch it because they think births + women's bodies are amazing, so I wouldn't be worried about creeping someone out by the scariness of childbirth... haha. Plus hopefully they watch enough that mine wouldn't stick out in their mind!
I watched my sister give birth, and it was a LOT less creepy than I imagine seeing her butt naked in a different setting (say, running naked to the mailbox as mentioned several months ago!)

@illumina: I bet the UK version is funnier than the US version. Is the show meant to be a little funny? It always is regardless.

@MrsMcD: I think it is actually more serious and reserved? (confirming to British stereotype, I guess). I watched the U.S one a couple of times and there seemed to be so much drama, millions of family in the delivery room and arguments between said family members and the nurses. I'm not sure if it is really dramatised or if that's what it is like over there!

For me it would depend more on how big/invasive the crew is than what they show. I'd be happy to let them film and air anything if they had just one or two silent, unobtrusive cameras. If there's a lot of lights, camera, action nonsense, no way, not for millions. Likewise if there's lots of editing for drama.
