Do you call your pediatrician? I never called a doctor except to make an appointment before DD arrived, but now I've called three times in the past month! How much do you think is too much? Do you ever feel like you're being a nuisance, or that they are annoyed with you?

I only called them once and that was when DS was sick and I asked if they thought I should bring him in or not since he was so little (3 months). I make his next wellness appts when we check out for the current wellness appointment.

I call pretty regularly. LO had 4 months of chronic ear infections so there were loooots of Dr. visits. I also love that I can email my doctor for quick questions. We did a lot of emailing when we were sorting out her food intolerance issues.

M is 4 months and I've never called other than to schedule an appointment, but she's also not in daycare yet. I think once she starts daycare I will be calling often!

Only once... when DD fell off the bed.

DD has bad reflux, so maybe I sort of have an excuse? Nah, I'm giving myself too much credit...I'm pretty sure it's just first time mom jitters

I have called the phone advice nurse maybe 6-7 times since she was born. 4 of those times they had us come in.

I actually think our office prefers we call as they try to have their nurses help over the phone first. I remember calling two days in a row when he had a stomach bug and they were totally fine with it. They should understand if you're a first time parent.
