Yay mommy!!

My parents come once or twice a year to help out. It takes them a day to get here so that is really good!

I have a really hard time asking for help... Idk what it is. I can't stand asking anyone - even my own family- for help/favor. I would say maybe twice a year at most? And we are only about 15 mins away.

We were long-distance from our families for the first 4.5 years of being parents, and during that time, my mom came about 3 times (for each of their births + 10 days postpartum, and once to help us move apts while DD1 was a 1 year old).

Now we are about 30 mins away from her and she's baby-sat around 5 times in the past year. The kids are older and more and more independent these days though, so hoping to up the frequency. They bond so well these days anyway, so I gotta take advantage, though it's hard for me to ask sometimes!
