My toddler gets a bath every night right before bed (2 year-olds are messy little people).
My 9 week old gets a bath when he does a giant spit-up all over himself (probably every 4 days or so).

In the early days probably every 3rd day or major spit up. Now that she's in daycare 3 days a week I go every other day. And she's drooling like craazy.
My toddler (33m eek!) get a bath nightly unless DH gets too lazy and we've been home all day.

Twice a week? Nothing regular at any rate! Depends on how much like spit up she smells She's 4 mo (tomorrow! Eek!).

N (27 months) gets a bath every other day unless we have been super messy. His skin can't handle much more.
E (11 months) gets a bath about every 3 days. He doesn't like baths. Plus like N's skin, E's skin is too sensitive.

We used to bathe both kids every day (living in a humid climate). Now in a drier climate, I try to bathe them both every other day to avoid dry skin. We sometimes still do every day though if the 8 month old has a blowout or the 2.5 year old has been playing somewhere kind of dirty.
It's really more about the bedtime routine than anything else for us. They really love their baths.

I give my 4 month old a bath every day since she is in daycare now.

As a baby, it was more like weekly, with a wipe down more often. But she did not spit up, and she wasn't an especially messy or sweaty baby. As she got old enough to take baths with us, it got more often, and now she takes one most days.

Every night in the summer. Every other night in the winter. Her skin gets so dry!

We started giving him a bath every night around 6 weeks because he enjoyed them and they seemed to help him relax and settle for bed.

Every other day until 7-8 months when he started making big messes feeding himself and we moved to every day.

It's kind of gone in waves. When she was a newborn I bathed her pretty infrequently, maybe every 3-5 days barring any major spit ups for poopsplosions.
Once she started really loving the bath, I did it more often just for fun and part of the nightly routine, and then when she started on solids and got them all over herself regularly she went to every day.
Now at 18 months we typically do every other day.

Right now she is 5 months and we do every other day. She cold probably go every 3 days but she poops a lot and spits up.

Every 2-3 days for my 6 month old. Every other day for my 2.5 year old (unless she got really messy, had an accident or we went somewhere dirty like the zoo or ped office).

Every day not cuz she needs it but its just part of our routine and she adores bath time.

His skin would go crazy on us if we bathed him every night. He (21m) takes a shower 2-3 times a week and gets a sponge bath the other days.
The baby will 2.5w will take a full bath maybe once or twice a week and the rest of time it's also sponge baths.

We bathe our 4-month-old once a week, if that... or if he has an explosive poo. I wait until my husband is around at the weekends, since our evenings are just too short and crammed already.

When she was a baby, probably every 2-3 days?
Now that she's a messy 16 month old, it's every night. She loves to rub her food in her hair during supper and then yell "Bath!!!!" over and over until she gets in the tub.
watermelon / 14206 posts
It was once or twice a week, but he gets so messy while eating, it's starting to be every other day.
D showers on gym days and basketball days. (About 3 times a week). We're working up to nightly showers.

We bathe our 3 month old about twice a week. I've seen a lot of recent research saying that less bathing is better for baby skin and linking it to decreased eczema. So far it is working for us.

We did almost nightly because of her reflux. She just threw up soooo much and it would get in her neck folds and get gross. I don't think it was necessary, but she liked it. Then when we started doing an evening routine, it was definitely nightly. For our toddler, it still is.

We did every night from 6 weeks to 7 months, because he loved it as part of his night routine. But his skin has started to get very dry now that it's winter, so I'm doing it every other night.

DD is 15 months and we do every 2-3 nights unless she's really messy. She is starting to want one every night though so if she asks for one, I usually give her one. So she's had a bath the past 2 nights back to back

She's 16 months and we have always done every night, because she loves it so much!
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
When he was a newborn it was every 2 nights. From 3 months til now at 11 months it's every other night.
pomegranate / 3983 posts
From about a month or six weeks on it has been every night as part of the bedtime routine. They are almost 2 and 3.5 for reference. They do get pretty messy most days but even when they don't it's a good indoor activity.

We bathe both (3 yo and 9 months) every night. Sometimes our 3 year old protests and we don't feel like taking on the fight. They both attend daycare so I like to wash off the germs and for my 9 month it signals bedtime! However they both have dry skin as a result so we use a gentle soap and lather with lotion.

when she was a baby we did almost every day (she was a spitter so it was pretty necessary.) Now at a toddler (2) we do every other day in the winter due to her sensitive skin, unless it was a messy day then we do as needed.

Every night, unless I am feeling lazy, but I like to get the day care germs off her. Plus she loves it so why not.
pomelo / 5820 posts
We were bathing him every night (he's 19 months), but his skin was starting to get really bad with the dry winter air. So, now we do every other night.
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
Right now we bathe our DS (19 months) every other night or so. DD is 6 months and gets bathed twice a week.

Almost five month old, I bathe at least ever other day, unless he leaked for poopoos.
My preschoolers have been taking a bath everyday for at least 2.5 years. They are three in March.
pomelo / 5628 posts
We did once a week until he started getting more mobile and eating more solids (i.e. getting dirtier). That's about the time it seemed more important to have the routine...so until 6-8 months or so. Then we did daily.
coconut / 8483 posts
We've done everyday as part of a bedtime routine since about 6 weeks. We only use soup every other night. When he was younger we bathed about every other day. He had lots of hair and it was soo greasy if we went too long!
pomegranate / 3716 posts
It's part of our bedtime routine, so almost every night when we're home. I do worry that it might be too drying on his skin, but I lotion him up afterwards. My dad is a dermatologist and told us to bathe him at least every other night because the poop will irritate his bum.
watermelon / 14467 posts
1-2 times a week at 15 months. I spot clean the rest of the nights. Our evening time is so short as it is.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
We do every other night during the winter so his eczema doesn't flare up. Usually every day during the warmer months.
