Like Zulliy, Totsy, Woot, Groupon, Living Social, etc. ?
I think I buy from those sites about 2-3 a month at least. Last month, I bought about 7 deals.

I never really find any I like. There was a good mani-pedi one nearby last week, but the salon itself has bad reviews.
I got some diapers from babysteals in november or so, but passed them along as we aren't cloth diapering now.

I've ordered from Zulily once and babysteals once. I really like Zulily but I tend to impulse buy when there's a deal like the ones they offer. I have to sit down and make sure I can justify the purchase. I don't like babysteals as much because the shipping is always outrageous!

Same as @sweet t. I bought from Zulily and Baby steals once too. I usually buy most of my stuff on Amazon. And usually it's cheaper on Amazon because there's no sales tax. Plus I have Prime so no shipping costs. Some of those discount sites have outrageous shipping prices.

i think i've bought 2 groupons ever, and i bought from ruelala once. not very often at all.

I think I've only bought 2-3 things from baby steals. In a span of a year?

I go through stretches every 6 months or so where I'll buy 3-4 things over a week or two but for the most part I very rarely buy from these sites. Just too expensive on shipping.
The hubs bought a Angie's List deal for air duct cleaning once. They did a terrible job, caused damage to our house and refused to refund our money. That stopped us from buying those types of deals.

Ummm maybe once a month? I don't go overboard with them, but if there's a good deal I will get it for sure! Also last week I got a "free gift" from groupon, they just emailed me and said that I had $10 to use! I was like...sweet! So I am now getting the O magazine for free for a year I think, and it comes with a free tote bag!

@PBandBaseball: I thought Angie's list was suppose to be better because you pay for membership. That sucks. I'm sorry.

@bluestriped bee: Angie's List is supposed to be better .I think that we just had bad luck with a company that used to be good but tried to make more money by hiring unskilled people who cut corners. This happened in February and we're still trying to get a refund. Maybe one day . . .

i used to buy off gilt group a lot (couple times a month), but lately i haven't been buying anything. although they offered me a free $50 gift cert last week so i did buy something last week! other than that, i would say once a month at the most now.

I've gotten a couple things off Rue La La lately for myself. Be careful, though, and don't assume that it's a good deal without comparison shopping. I've noticed that especially on Gilt with kid/baby stuff, things are still cheaper on Amazon!

@Mrs. Yoyo: with toys, it's almost always more expensive on gilt than it is on amazon. i actually visited their headquarters last year and told them that!

@Mrs. Bee: Good! I think it's sneaky, honestly. The fact that they're limited time deals makes people assume they're getting the best price ... and so often, they're not.

I would say maybe once a month, I used to do it more often but have cut back on spending.

Practically never. I browse groupon and sweet jack fairly often, but I never see anything I need.

@Mrs. Bee: Yeah, I get Gilt emails but I hardly find anything good. I think I should unsubscribe.

I've never bought from them.... I just never find anything that wows me or if I do the cost of shipping is kinda bizarre so I just get it elsewhere
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
@Mrsbells: Yeah, the only reason I bought from Zulliy is because they give free shipping to new members. I did see a couple weeks ago, they had a free shipping weekend. I didn't see anything I could buy. I bought from woot, last month, but I made sure that it was a good deal even after shipping. I bought whiskey rocks for the DH and got 3 of them, so I could give 2 away as gifts.

Maybe once a month? During the holidays, there were quite a few good deals so I bought more then.

I've started buying from Haute Look. It's so addictive... Plus they take Paypal, which makes it ten times worse. Since the end of February I've bought from them 5 times! Yikes!
I need to stop.

My DH and I buy from woot about once a month but I always check the price and reviews of the item on Amazon first.

I used to buy from them about once a month, but haven't bought any this year. It was when took a look at my accounts and realized that a number of them were expired and went to waste, boo!
GOLD / pomelo / 5167 posts
Not often, because majority of the sites don't ship to Canada or if they do it's ridiculously expensive.
I've purchased maybe 5 times tops.
