I eat it a lot for lunch at work. And dinner when DH is out. If he is home during the week, one night we always do grilled chicken salad for dinner. We do it a lot as our veggie with dinner. My parents still have it just about every night.

I haven't given R any yet.

We go through spurts where we eat a LOT of salad, and then other times where we hardly eat it at all.
I'd say right now, we average about 1x per week.

DS eats veggies but not the lettuce!

I eat it 2-3 times a week, LO hates lettuce and refusess to eat it. She just says yucky and throws it on the ground.

I eat salad a few times a week for lunch. The kids really do not like lettuce, and my DS has a lot of trouble chewing it. Only way I'm able to get my DD to eat lettuce is stuffed in a soft taco or cooked down in a soup.

pretty much never. i have never been a salad person, but i wonder if now if i should start to get LO into it....

Maybe like twice a month? But we'd eat it for like 3 days straight since DH likes to get a few bags and mix them up.

I loooove salads so i eat it at least 2-3x a week for lunch. I could even eat it every day for lunch and not get tired of it! We havent offered DD any salad yet.

Most days we have salad. I get really creative with ingredients depending on what I have on hand. LO goes through different phases in terms of what he eats vs picks out, but we don't make a big deal out of it and sure enough he cycles through to something else.

Before I got pregnant, I ate it most days for lunch. I don't want it whist pregnant though - all that is really available here this time of year is bagged salad, and I don't trust that when pregnant. Plus my typical salads are basically a listeria party with blue cheese, soft eggs, the occasional rare steak, alfalfa when I can get it etc!

I plan to start again in the summer when I can get whole lettuce again, and hopefully baby will like it!
We ate it almost daily in summer gorwing up - but then I had a mother that would cook us green vegetables or serve us sala whenever we got takeout, which was rare!

We eat salad almost every night with dinner, and I eat salad several days a week with/for lunch. LO likes arugula, baby bok choy, mustard greens and cooked spinach.

I think what’s in your salad is more important than just eating a lot of “salad”. If salad only means iceberg lettuce topped with cheese and ranch dressing; you’re not getting much besides salt, sugar and fat added to your diet no matter how much salad you eat. If you’re talking about dark, leafy greens, good fats like nuts, oils and avocado, lean proteins, etc. then that’s a punch to your diet, even if you only have it a few times a week.

Probably like twice a day? A big one for lunch (spinach, arugula, mushrooms, avocado, sunflower seeds, tomato, celery, red pepper, splash of balsamic vinegar & lemon juice) and then a smaller, more basic one at dinner.

A few times a week with dinner. It's a lot more in the summer though, when there are more fresh veggies available. We tend to do more roasted veggies as sides in the winter, rather than salads.

Only when we go out to eat and the place offers salad with our meal.
