We've been running it daily lately now that I'm home. We make a ton of dishes for only 3 people using them

It's just the 2 of us right now so we actually don't really use the dishwasher!

Every evening. I put it on when we go to bed and empty it every morning while I'm getting E's breakfast ready. If I don't have enough dishes/pans to fill it, I use the space to wash something else - for example, I might wash all of the plastic toys or the bath toys or all the ballpit balls; some nights we wash the oven shelves or the highchair tray or the dog toys.... the list is endless!

Twice a week since I stopped hand washing sippy cups. Our top rack gets full quickly.
