I haven't shaved my legs in years! I used to shave for fun every once in a while when i was younger, but never really had to. Luckily i got the non hairy Korean genes from both parents.

I'm no super hairy, so i could go a week without shaving my legs. I'm horrified of getting waxed or lasered... i hate pain!

I have to shave my legs every other day. In reality, I shave them much... much less. And just wear jeans a lot. Which really pleases DH (not).

@chopsuey119: lucky!!!
I usually have to shave them about once a week in the summer. BUT when I'm pregnant, I have no leg hair!! AND the amount of hair on my arms goes way down as well. What the heck!! I don't mind. I can't reach my legs to shave them anyway. hehe.

I haven't shaved my legs in over two years - I don't have leg hairs! Or, the ones that I DO have are so fair and light that you can't even see it. But I shave my armpits every day in the shower.

@chopsuey119: You're so lucky!! My mom hardly has any hair on her legs also. Why didn't I inherit that gene gah?!
I recently had laser hair removal and only have fine hairs left so I shave about once a month now? I have a couple more sessions left.
Previously, I'd have to have every other day - so annoying!

Every other day if I want to wear shorts. I don't shave my upper leg often because the hair is really fine and blonde there.
GOLD / cantaloupe / 6703 posts
Not nearly often enough! I usually wear slacks or jeans, very occassionally wear skirts and never wear shorts unless it's pj's. Hubs really doesn't care though. He tells me I could wait as long as I want and even when I feel gross about how long it's been, he still says he doesn't care.
I love him.

I haven't in 20 years. My legs are pretty hairless...I shaved a few times when I was 12 because I thought it was cool!

In the summer I try to shave once a week because I wear shorts a lot. In the winter, I don't really shave at all. lol I'm lucky enough to have blonde leg hair though.
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
Every other day, esp in the spring/summer when I wear more skirts and dresses. In the winter I might go every three days, esp if during the week since DH isn't home. Sometimes that pesky travel comes in handy

I should shave every 2-3 days, but being pregnant I now only shave when my legs show! haha I do shave my armpits and bikini area every day.
bananas / 9628 posts
apparently i'm lazy & hairy!! haha =D i should shave every 2 or 3 days, and i do that in the summer because i wear a lot of dresses/skirts/shorts, but when they're not showing- it's more like once a week. such a pain in the butt. i wanna laser it so bad!
GOLD / eggplant / 11517 posts
For only two reasons:
1) when I plan to wear a dress/capris/shorts/bathing suit...so obviously a lot more often in the summer than in the winter.
2) pre-planned sexy time with DH like a vacation or anniversary or something.

every other day? i shave up to my knee and my armpits (want laser for this so bad!)

I've never shaved my legs or my armpits.
I have really fine leg hair and about 5 armpit hairs a week, so I just pluck those.

Wow...I shave my legs daily. I never considered myself to be a hairy person but this thread is making me think that maybe I am? I didn't shave today and they look ok I guess but I can definitely see stubble and they don't feel very smooth. I'm incredibly jealous of those of you who never shave. You are saving a fortune on razors and shaving cream!

2-3 times a week, unless I'm feeling like crap. I have blond hair, so it's not obvious unless you're up close. I just don't like it being all prickly.

@eeh: I am in the same boat, I could easily shave the 5 o'clock shadow from my legs every day, but it is more like every few days. I shave my underarms every day.

i try to shave once a week, but it is getting impossible with the belly in the way!

every few days.. I have a lot of hair but it's fine and blonde so even when I feel it, it doesn't show.
while I was pregnant I shaved/waxed religiously because of all the doctors appointments - I know, I'm strange, but it just made me feel better to have all my business groomed how I like to have it with all the people that were up in there all the time. And I used it as a test for how pregnant I was and was very surprised that I could do a full shave/wax until the very end!

Once a month at most for my legs - definitely less often during the winter. About every other day for my armpits.

@eeh:/@Pipers Mommy: Ditto. Totally jealous of the girls who have naturally non-hairy legs.
Well, pre-pregnancy I could get away with shaving every two or three days (although I shave my armpits every day). And usually only up to my knees unless I was planning on getting busy with DH. My hair was thin and blonde, and not really noticeable (except on my armpits, where it's thick and dark?)
Now it's every other day, and I prefer every day. The stubble on my lower legs is no longer thin and blonde, but comes in thick and dark. A fun pregnancy side effect, I guess, along with my new fur coat on my lower belly--in addition to my linea nigrea--this stretches from hip to hip from my belly button down, with some patches higher up. Luckily it's very blonde and not noticeable except up close and personal.
I'm a "as little work as possible" leg shaver, though. I rarely use shaving cream. When I use body wash I just run a razor over my legs quickly before I rinse off. And I still don't go above the knees unless I'm planning on wearing a shorter dress, or getting busy. Lately I've run a razor over them while I'm taking a now nightly bath. I use DH's awesome smelling hair/body/shave wash (guys are so lucky!) as bubble bath, and it makes my skin really soft and moisturized, and the blade just slides right over my skin.
And that's way more about my personal grooming habits than I ever thought I'd share online, lol.

Legs and Arm pits every other day.
I could probably shave every day but it dries my skin out too much.

Only when I know I"ll be wearing shorts/skirt/dress. Otherwise, I don't. I hate shaving. In the winter, I hardly ever shave.
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
Never. I used to shave but I would get bumps all over my legs. I now use Veet and my hair comes back very fine so I only use the cream like once when summer starts.

So jealous of you ladies who rarely have to shave. I shave my arms and armpits every day, and I shave my legs mostly everyday but if I am in a hurry I will skip and wear pants. But I could never skip and wear a skirt.

Twice a week, maybe an extra time if I am going to wear a dress or shorts for something.

Every three or four days I try to give my legs a good shave- I've found the soap-cartridge razors to be really helpful now that I can't see as much of my legs as I'd like to. It's so hard to nick yourself with those things!
squash / 13764 posts
Maybe 3-4 times a week, depending on the season. Armpits I shave every other day though--I hate doing this, I feel like I can always see the dark roots!
pomelo / 5321 posts
ha! not nearly enough! I usually wear jeans so it's not a big deal. Well, it is a little bit..for DH. oops (:
