We have everyday dishes and fancy ones. The fancy ones have only been used ONCE. I'm too afraid of breaking any of them!

The fancy dishes live at my mom's house in Mass so never : ( we need to get them to our house eventually but we usually fly home which makes that impossible!

We only have one set of dishes. When we registered for our wedding we only registered for one set and we use them as our everyday dishes. I knew we wouldn’t use “fancy” dishes and I wanted to make sure we got all of the ones that we registered for. The ones we have are definitely nice but functional.

No fancy dishes because we'll never use them! I do plan on getting more serving ware because I imagine we'll start to host holidays more often.

We bought one set of Noritake stone wear. It's great for every day and it dresses up nice. We're not getting any china unless one of our moms gives it to us. Both moms have multiple sets.

I don't have fancy dishes! I gave them to my mom. You should use the fancy more often! What's the point of having nice stuff if you don't use it!

We don't have any fancy dishes. We got our everyday dishes from crate and barrel for our wedding. They're simple and white so they can be dressed up when we want to!

We got all of our fancy dishes as wedding gifts...2 years later and we still haven't even opened the boxes!

I've never used the china I inherited from MIL. I've used nicer dishes for Thanksgiving and other large dinner parties a couple times a year.

We don't own any. My mom and my mil both have their grandmas china..... so I didn't register for any in hopes that I'll inherit one of theirs one day. I'll use it though. They both do for holidays and I will too when I take over.

We got married on the 3rd day of the month, so I started using our fancy dishes on the 3rd day of every month after we married. It lasted about 7-8 months. We just had our 1 year anniversary and I am hoping to start the "tradition" back up. I love our china!!! It is Vera Wang Lace.

We never took our fancy wedding dishes out of the box... so they've just been sitting there in storage for the past 4 years. Hahaha.

DH insisted we register for fancy dishes. (long ridiculous story about family expectations there)... I got on his case about how we should use them now that we have them, so finally, after 2 years of marriage, we used them for a day-before-Easter brunch. We're going to try to make a tradition of that so we'll use them at least once a year.

We got some regular, but not too cheap, white stuff from C&B and we love it because it can easily be dressed up or down.

We don't own any fancy dishes, but that will change soon! I plan to buy a mid priced set and use those when we have a dining room.
