My husband puts our toddler in a clean pair of pajamas every night, and I let him wear the same pair for 2-3 days. I feel like since he only wears them at nighttime, and he doesn't sweat or get dirty, then he can wear them again. Plus, I don't have that many pajama sets in each size, and I don't want to do laundry every 2 days just because he ran out of pajamas. So, I'm curious to hear what's normal in your house.

I wash them after one night. He usually eats breakfast in his pajamas and I'm just in the habit from when he was younger and would get food on them! I usually do his laundry once or twice per week and we have at least that many pajama sets.

She only gets a bath every other or every 3 nights and I put her in a clean pair after bath usually- so it works out to every 2-3 wears. She also eats breakfast in them but she wears a bib and they don't get that dirty.
We are the opposite- I am the one that changes them, I think DH would keep her in the same pair for a week or two if I didn't say something.

I usually wash them after one night because they typically have breakfast smeared on them. Occassinally he'll wear them twice, but I do laundry all the time anyways because we cloth diaper so I usually have clean jammies.

One wear unless I slacked on laundry for the week and she will wear twice. We have one for every night anyways, but sometimes she's picky about what she wants to wear!

Ours always seem a little smelly from the overnight diaper and end up covered with breakfast in the morning, so they usually only make it one night. I wouldn't hesitate to reuse I'd they still seemed clean though.

I voted 3, but it's 2-4 nights depending on whether they get dirty or stained or not.

I try to get two wears out of each pair, but at 1.5 and 3.5 they are still kind of messy breakfast eaters so lots of times we only get one wear out of them. Each girl has about 5 pairs of seasonally appropriate PJs (so right now, fleece), plus a few others that aren't as on season (thinner long johns, nightgowns, etc), so it's not a big deal to wash after one wear.
I love pjs though, and don't mind spending $ to have extras since they spend probably 13-16 hours a day in them depending on how lazy we are in the AM!

2-4 but he never wears them outside his room. Also we have 4 pairs of PJs which is wonderful. (In part because of accidents, so 1 pair was not enough)

I usually only change about once a week. She only sleeps in them and they are off first thing in the morning. They don't get dirty so I think it works be a waste to change them frequently.

I change them every night but reading this I don't really know why - he only eats breakfast in them on weekends so they're basically clean. We have 8 pairs and I do laundry every week anyway. When he outgrows these ones maybe I'll buy fewer and do 2 or 3 nights in them.

We do a clean pair every night. I'm not even sure why. And if I think about it I wear the same Jammie's for a few nights.
Right now he has lots and he likes to wear them to daycare and let his teacher get him dressed most days. Maybe when he sizes up I'll get fewer and wear them more often.

He gets clean ones every night since he bathes every night. But if we are at home he will just hang out in his jammies all day or until that pair is dirty enough to change out of. He sweats a lot and he's been sick a lot lately too so I figure it's good to keep him in clean PJs. But I buy enough so that he has something clean to wear every night.

I change them after a few nights. She only wears them after she's bathed and then they're off in the morning before breakfast.

@aprild: Everyday but only bc he spits up every night and there's usually some pee that's escaped too (8 weeks old)!

Every 3-4 nights. She gets changed out of them when she awakes so unless she had spit up or a leaky diaper, they are still prett clean.

I'll let him wear them for about 5-6 days unless they get dirty some other way (breakfast gets eaten sometimes in them). Depends also when I'm putting the next load of laundry

We probably use 2 PJs per week. They are only used for sleeping and he doesn't wear diapers so they don't really get dirty.

I feed her in them so they usually get dirty, and she crawls around in them, so thanks to our five animals, she is usually covered in fur, so they get washed every night

Every night but only because he gets them messy with breakfast. He stays in them until AM nap is over around 10:30/11am.

Clean most nights although sometimes he'll wear them for 2 nights. Not sure why I put him in clean ones. He does t eat breakfast in them and they are only for sleep but I hate the way bagged out PJ pants look (the knees!). I'm a weirdo.

The tops get washed whenever they get dirty-- which is most days at breakfast. But sometimes they can stay clean and make it to a 2nd or 3rd day. The bottoms could go as long as a week sometimes and stay clean. So, different answers depending on which part of the set we're talking about.

2-3... I usually change her right before and right after so it doesn't really touch anything else but the bed.

I would have him wear them for at least 2 nights but DS has other ideas and won't usually wear the same pair a second night. It's not a fight that I deem worthy so I go with it.

2-3 nights for my toddler and every night for the baby.

The baby gets new pajamas every 2-3 days, but the 3 yo only about once a week, though he only wears them for sleeping and not at all during the day.
