If you have a normal changing pad and a cloth cover how often do you wash it? Typically I wash it with the sheets on the weekends.
I am not intrigued by these foam changing pads that don't require a cover but are they cold?

I change about once a week, unless she spits up all over it or something

Whenever she pees on it, so once or twice a week. She pees during changes now more than when she was a newborn.

I don't change it often only because I don't really use it.

I have this foam pad and I LOVE it!! I'd be washing the cover daily if I had a cloth one. Now I can just wipe down as needed. It's a little chilly, but he doesn't seem to mind. Sometimes I'll throw a towel over it if I'm especially worried.

When its dirty. I stick a prefolds under his butt for accidents and that's way easier to switch out and wash.

Once a week I wash it, but I have like 4 washable pads I put on top and wash those over 2 days.

I change the changing pad and crib sheet once a week. I started doing his laundry on Wednesdays, my work from home day. I just have to remember to wash his crib sheet and changing pad because I forget sometimes.

At least once a week unless there is an accident, which there usually is.

So far, only if it has gotten dirty. We have disposable multipurpose sheets that do not let pee through we leave on it so if we deal with any leakage we can just throw it out - maybe once ever other week we have to throw it out.
Here are what I'm talking about:
