I'm 31 and still get them regularly. The only time I've had good skin was before my wedding, but that involved being on birth control, oral antibiotics, and two topical creams... it's just not sustainable, so I deal.

I'm 31 and had great skin whilst I was pregnant and the first couple of months pp, until my period came back and I've got the odd tiny white spots again
nectarine / 2932 posts
I'm 25 and I get them NONSTOP. Even after taking accutane. It sucks.

34 and I stopped getting occasional zits during my last pregnancy! I have clear but greasy skin.

32 and yes. It's worse during pregnancy, but I do get them when I'm not also.

OMG Yes. So annoying.
28 and get them on my cheeks and chin. I am thinking about switching foundations and seeing if that helps.
honeydew / 7230 posts
29 and I would occasionally get one or two really red ones with my period. I have also had them with pregnancy, but they are more like patches of acne that doesn't get big or red.

honeydew / 7917 posts
27 and get an occasional zit but honestly can't remember the last time. As a teen I didn't have many.

29 & yes, frequently
i just caved & started using SA again, i'd been avoiding it while we've been TTC, but screw it, it's been this long, how many years of bad skin should i endure while trying to have a baby?? that's just adding insult to injury.

almost 34 and no!
I had one zit that would not go away while I was pregnant with DS, but it went away as soon as I had him.

33, and I get them ALL the time! I think I have zits 90% of the time, bah humbug. Ironically, my dad is a dermatologist, haha.
pomegranate / 3244 posts
29, and yes. Not as bad as when I was a teen, but at this point I feel like I'll never have clear skin.
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
22 and yup. I have a bad case of them right now unfortunately. Granted it's gotten worse since being pregnant but i still get a few even not pregnant.
ETA: I originally put I was 23. I'm not. OMG where is my head. I don't know how old I am.

31 and I actually had worse acne in my 20s than I did in my teens; it was so bad! I tried all sorts of facial cleansers and treatments but while some of it helped, nothing completely cleared it all away and kept it away until I stumbled onto the Jan Marini skin care line. I can't even tell you how much this stuff has changed not only my acne but also the quality of my skin. I am very much a chemical-free, natural kind of person (I make my own cleaning solutions, use soap nuts, eat organic, etc) but I can't help but make an exception for pretty much the only thing that has ever worked for me
This is what I use morning and night:
1) Cleanser
-- I started out using Bioglycolic Face Cleanser ( http://www.janmarini.com/skin-care/cleanse/bioglycolic-face-cleanser.asp ) which was actually my "in" to the Jan Marini line up. I've since stopped using it only because my acne has gone away so I've been trying others
-- I am currently using C-ESTA Face Cleanser ( https://www.janmarini.com/skin-care/cleanse/c-esta-cleansing-gel.asp ) and love it! I was a little worried I might break out again but haven't had any issues after the switch
2) C-ESTA serum - I seriously think that this is the reason my skin improved (not acne-wise but just in general) and it the one product that I am not willing to stop because I love it so much. The only issue is that I go through it too fast and it's pricy!
3) Age Intervention Duality ( https://www.janmarini.com/skin-care/acne/age-intervention-duality.asp ) This is what keeps the acne away now, all by itself! In the beginning I did pair this together with Bioglycolic Bioclear Lotion ( https://www.janmarini.com/skin-care/resurface/bioglycolic-bioclear-lotion-cream.asp ) but I am trying to simplify my routine a bit and didn't replace this two months ago when I ran out and haven't noticed a difference at all.
4) Transformation Face Cream & Eye cream ( https://www.janmarini.com/skin-care/hydrate/transformation-face-cream-serum.asp ) during the day. LOVE LOVE LOVE this face cream. Seriously, love it. The eye cream I'm eh about and will try something new when it runs out.
At night I use Age Intervention Retinol Plus ( https://www.janmarini.com/skin-care/anti-aging/age-intervention-retinol-plus.asp ) replacing a cosmetics aisle brand (can't remember which) and to be honest, I haven't been able to tell a difference between the two. I'm not sure if that means that this one is just average quality or if I really lucked out with the store-bought stuff which was better than average.
5) Marini Physical Protectant SPF 45 ( https://www.janmarini.com/skin-care/protect/marini-physical-protectant-spf-45.asp ) during the day although I live in England so it's not like I'm at risk of getting a sun burn often
Anyway, I'm not like affiliated with Jan Marini or anything but just can't help but love the brand that solved a lifelong issue for me! All my family and friends say that I look much younger after using these products for a couple of months!

@Littlebit: I had to do like 4-5 courses of accutane...and my skin is so much better now. It would work but come back after a year. I think my last course of accutane was when I was 25 and after that my skin was so much better. I still get occasional zits but nothing like before and it's much more rare...like maybe one or two small zits every few months rather than several zits nonstop. I have no regrets...just wish I had done my treatments earlier so my skin wasn't so damaged/scarred. I know you are pregnant right now though so maybe you can revisit the issue in a few years after baby

25 and not really since I've been pregnant! Before though I'd get random ones sometimes.

26 and yes!! It's so annoying. My skin is still much better than it use to be though... So I can't complain too much.

29 and yes! It was so nice when I was on birth control because I never had any break outs. But now...sigh.

28 and yes. Not that often and not very badly, I went through a phase in my 20s where I had bad breakouts on my cheeks. Now I get them once in a while.

@rahlyrah: My face would flare up the week before I got AF! Hated it!! At least it's a sign of her impending visit?
I'm 28 and always have them.
pomelo / 5228 posts
Yep
Its usually worse in the winter. I used to use clindamycin cream, but its a no-no for TTC/pregnancy. I'm 32.

My skin is decent, definitely get the occasional pimple here and there, I am 28. However, my skin was atrocious during my pregnancy and didn't get better until maybe 6-8 weeks postpartum. It was so bad that I would decline social invitations and they were so deep and painful and would last fooorever. I'm hoping I get the "glow" during my next pregnancy!

I never got zits on BC. They started popping up after a few months off of BC. Got pregnant. Terrible/greasy teenager flare up for a couple months. Now 6 months in, and my skin is sooooo nice. I'm afraid to not be pregnant though. I think they will come back!
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
28 and I have very good skin, but whenever AF shows up she brings a chin zit...never fails, no matter what I do one pops up in the same spot!

I'm 32 and have had pretty clear skin for my whole life. However, I do get the occasional period-related zit.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
31 and yes.... never had a problem before BC and while on BC. But once I got off of it, my skin went crazy! Finally after a year or more, my skin has calmed down. But I still do get a little bit of skin issues each month for a day or so that I can guess have something to do with my cycle.... so fun.....
