I knew I wanted a spring baby the second go around, we started TTC when she was 20 months old. they are exactly 2 1/2 years apart. We conceived when she was 22 months old.

She was 17 months by the time we could TTC again (my period only returned the month before and we had to regulate my thyroid too). I would have been ready, if I'd been able, once she turned one. This time, I'll be ready anytime after he turns nine months. Then we will have to see if my period takes its sweet time again.

I was ready around nine months but had to wait until DH was ready once DD1 was a year. My girls are 23 months apart.
#3 was a surprise that was conceived when I was very much not ready when DD2 was 3.5 months old. We had planned to TTC at nine months. Oh well.

2.5...I got my IUD out a week or two after that, and conceived the first cycle. They'll be 3 years and around 4-5 months apart, depending on when she shows up.

19 months and counting - definitely not ready yet. 2 under 2 scares the bejeesus out of me, and 2 under 3 isn't much less scary! I think when my son is between 2 and 2 1/2 we'll start pulling the goalie. I was on the pill for a while but it was not working well for me emotionally so we're just using condoms or pull n pray at the moment - we are fully aware a pregnancy could happen, and if it did we would be happy, but we aren't even close to actively trying.

Right away with number 2, I guess. We NTNP and DD was conceived when I was just about 4 months postpartum.
I think we're going to start TTC for number 3 in November or December. DD will be 16/17 months old.

I was ready at 8 months, we started NTNP at 10 months, with the plan to full on TTC at 14 months

We started when LO 1 was around 20 months. He was 27 months when I got pregnant... It seemed way faster, but I'd say 4 of those months were sorta semi trying. 3 actively trying.

My son is 3.5 years old and we have an appointment with a new RE next month. But we don't plan on starting an IUI round until January or February. I initially didn't want this large of an age gap but I think it is going to be perfect for our family.

We started when DS was 18 or 19 months. With this pregnancy we were preventing but got pregnant when DD was 8 months old.

Just last week at 21 months! LO is starting to become more verbal and independent and I can see handling two when before I thought there was no way.

I felt ready around a year but waited for DH to be ready around 18 months

We started talking about it when he was 18 months. We actively started a few months later, got our bfp just before his 2nd bday

DS was 22 months when I was ready. Got pregnant on the second cycle trying and the are 2.5 years apart (30 months exactly).
For our #3 we will TTC after the baby turns 1 in Decembwr. We had a surprise pregnancy at 9 months but I miscarried and we aren't quite ready yet.

About a year. It took us a long time to get pregnant the first time so we agreed to start ttc pretty quickly... And then got pregnant the first time we tried!

I was ready pretty soon after DDs birth, but then that faded around 8 months. Now at 19 months (and 6w) pregnant I feel is a pretty ideal time for us. DD is starting to be more independent and I almost feel like I've mastered being a mom of one, so why not throw a wrench in it all?!

I've been ready since he was 17 months. Unfortunately, DH is not. So I wait.

@mrsrain: ohhh that gives me hope!!!
DD is almost 10 months and we are NTNP and ready for #2

We decided to pull the goalie when DD1 was 16 months old which was a little early but it took us a year to get pregnant with her. Well, got pregnant on the first cycle, but b/c of a few losses, it took us almost another year to get our sticky baby. Now that we have 2, we'll probably TTC #3 when DD2 is about 14-16 months.

11 months. But i wish I'd waited a fee more months because pregnancy with an LO that young is hard!

We were doing PNP with the knowledge that our track record with it isn't great after a year or so. Got pregnant at 16 months.

Around DD's 2nd birthday we started NTNP and then actually trying a few months later. DD and DS are almost exactly 3 years apart. So far (almost 2 months in) the age gap is working out really well.

@FaithFertility: I have a friend who also struggled to conceive her first. Took us both a year and a half the first time. She also got pregnant the first try for number 2!
