Our cutoff is Dec 1 so she'll be 5, turning 6 in Dec. unless we feel she's ready the year before, but I don't want to push it.

And I forgot to include my baby! She'll be a little over 5.5 when she starts...in 4.5 years

DS2 will be 5 (may baby). DS1 will either be 4 or 5. He's a september baby born 11 days before the cutoff. I was always the youngest in my class and hated it. My 1st instinct is to hold him back a year but we'll see what his maturity level is at that time.

DS is a Nov baby. He'll either me 4 years 10 months or 5 years and 10 months with a school year that starts in September. The cutoff around here can be flexible if you put in a written request. We're going to reassess his readiness at the 4 year 10 month mark. I was one of the oldest in my class and I hated it! But I also know that it varies from child to child, so if DS isn't ready, we'll put him in the following year.

He'll turn 6 a few months after school starts (Nov). LO 2 is due at the beginning of August, so he/she will be one of the youngest. I can hold him/her back until they are 6, if I feel like I need to. I'm a pre-k teacher, so recognizing kindergarten readiness is part of my job.
