DS2 is 21 months and started a toddler program at our Montessori school at the beginning of September. Previously he was home with me or a nanny. It's 3 days, 8:30-3:30. It's not going well. He cries a lot, doesn't seem to participate much, and is acting exhausted and wanting to nap before nap time (aka during lunch time). I work, but we do have a part time nanny and have the option of switching back to her normal hours and pulling him from school.

I was figuring I should give it a month and then re-assess. How long did it take your toddler to adjust to daycare/school?
