Maybe 16 weeks? It's a long story and it doesn't matter any more, but it was better to delay telling.

i told my mom the day after, and she told my dad. i didn't tell one brother until maybe 7-8 weeks and the other one i waited until 12 weeks.

We waited 10 weeks. It was nice to have an exciting little secret, just us.

We told parents and my sisters right away. We are very close. We miscarried at 20 weeks and at that point everyone knew and I was showing. It was good to have support from everyone. This next time, we will still tell our parents, but I may wait to tell my sisters after the first appointment. We will not tell anyone else until we are 12 weeks or 20 weeks. It just depends.

I'll tell my family together at least a month after I tell DH. Dhs family can find out after I give birth for all I care.
