I like to try and keep my kids bedtimes consistent but I'm not strict about them going down right at the same time every night. If we have plans I can work around them...a little bit anyway!

We used to be super consistent, and my first really thrived with that, but now we are more flexible and my second seems fine with it. The second is more fussy and demanding in general so it is easier to be in tune with his needs - it is very obvious when he needs to get to bed STAT.

We are really really consistent. I wouldnt say strict. Bath and bedtime can vary by as much as 30 minutes if needed (usually earlier in our little whiners case )

Well, considering the only thing between me and a glass of wine is bedtime, I am pretty strict!
Since we are still trying to get her to sleep through the night, I am relatively strict. If it means we can't go out to do something fun, I might say the hell with bedtime.

We used to be and I am more diligent during the week because we HAVE to be up for work, but weekends, holidays, etc? Meh

We waiver between 7:30 and 8:30. We get away with it because it doesn't seem to affect E's sleep at all. Sooooo, we're lazy.

I'm not too strict most days. DH doesn't get to spend much time with them, and I'll push bedtime back 15 - 30 minutes so that they can play together.

We are not super strict....LO goes down between 7:30-8. But if I know DH won't be coming home until later I will push it so that he can see LO (he leaves before she wakes in the morning). But even if I push it, she still wakes up at the same freaking time everyday.....I wish she would sleep in!

Very. 95% of the time she's in bed within 15 minutes of her usual bedtime.

@littlejoy: Hahaha, I agree. I sometimes eye the clock and decide he can go to bed 30 minutes earlier because I'm done and that glass of wine is calling.
Seriously though, I only let it vary by 30 minutes either way, and an hour later on very rare occasions. We are just now starting to get a rare sweet spot of STTN so I try to be very consistent.
