All in all it was amazing because DD was born in Feb. However, Jan was pretty miserable for me! I was on maternity leave until May, those are cherished days I will always remember. June through August were pretty good, though we were still new parents and not sleeping! Sept-December were awfully hard due to 8 ear infections, tubes, insane work schedule (50-60 hour weeks).

We had many blessings but I am looking forward to 2016 with a 1 year old.

A lot of good things happened and we accomplished a ton, but it was also very tiring. I hope 2016 can be a bit more chill!

A lot of big, but very positive, changes. We had a terrible Feb/March...E and D both got a stomach flu, then E got a bad cold (that he gave to me) which gave him a double ear infection that landed us in the ER, and gave him what was basically pink eye (and me, as well). Before that healed I totaled my car.

But I'm pretty sure we conceived the first girl in beaky a century the night I totaled the car. We moved into a much better housing situation a month or two later, and my mom moved in with us over the summer. My pregnancy was rough but we welcomed Grace to the family right before Christmas. Overall a great year

2015 was challenging. I juggled too many things that I can't even remember half of it. I'm going into 2016 tired, so tired!

It was actually a really good year. Work was tough but I finally started to enjoy motherhood and my marriage started to come back from the dark place it had sunk to post partum.... We bought a fab new house, went on a lovely holiday and fell pregnant with #2. It was the first year in a long time I haven't been really glad to see the back of!

2015 started with a CVST & a surprise pregnancy, followed by a miscarriage. Moved in February. May brought another pregnancy; found out at 15 weeks baby was suffering severe IUGR. Very high risk pregnancy and lots of doctors appointments and MRIs (I think I had 6 in 4 months. Over. It.). Finally fixed my iron levels through infusion - ferritin was at a 4 & hemoglobin in 60's. Hospitalized once & baby came 9 weeks early only weighing 450grams. Went back to full time school in Sept. Lo2 took his first steps. Lo1 started potty training. Read 86 books.

Hmmm. Yeah. Crazy year. It's all good though.

ETA: oh yeah, and to just finish the year off nicely, SO ran the car into a snowbank a few days ago and, well, yay for that.

Super hard/challenging, but incredibly rewarding! I'm proud, but so happy it's over!

Overall, pretty crappy. Hardest year of my life but looking forward to good things in 2016.

Pretty terrible up until the end of September or so. Things started looking up a lot the last 3 months though and I'm feeling optimistic about 2016!

Eh, it was challenging. Between a miscarriage and someone I love very much being diagnosed with leukemia, it hasn't been the best of years. I'm hoping 2016 brings us a baby and good health for my loved ones and myself!

A good but very different year from any other so far! Had DD this summer & eventually decided not to return to work & SAH with her. I have worked (a LOT) for 18 yrs leading up to this decision, so it was weird but awesome to resign. Looking forward to LO's milestones & continuing to improve in my role of SAHM.

Very difficult. Dh laid off, then fired from a new job. Secondary infertility. Dh diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.

Pretty much glad 2015 is over!! Praying 2016 works out better!

It was a mixed bag, but mostly good. Having DS2 in our lives is so fun and such a blessing. I had such a hard time with DS1 for a lot of the year though - combo of 3s and new baby and he is so stinking willful. Work is good all around and we moved into our new home right after Christmas, so that was pretty awesome. But I have had 3 miscarriages since September, which has sucked. On balance, it was a good year and we are very lucky.

Brutal. DH had a big health scare (which is still ongoing but with a lot of super scary things ruled out, we're not in panic mode as much anymore). Also some job insecurities and financial difficulties.

But I feel we ended on a good note - a job contract renewed and good news on the health front - so I'm hoping we go into 2016 with good momentum!

The beginning of the year was really tough with some major health concerns for LO, but the rest of the year went really well. We celebrated LO's first birthday and our 5th wedding anniversary. I went back to work outside the home on a very part time basis this fall and it's been good for me. DH has had the past two weeks off which has allowed us some much needed family time after a very busy few months for him at work. So we are starting out 2016 feeling rested and relaxed!

Celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary, bought our first house, improved our finances, DD's first birthday, my 30th birthday, got to be there for my sister's wedding, got pregnant on our first try, hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas with little-to-no drama... I'm calling 2015 a great year!

Edit: all the big stuff was great, but there were hard things, too. Pregnancy is really hard on my body, for example. And we have spent the last 3 months sharing a cold back and forth! The big stuff was great, so I know I'm going to view 2015 fondly in the future!

Ok, some good, some intense stress. Looking forward to 2016....so far, so good!

It was both the hardest and best year. My dad died fall 2014 and for the first 3 months I was kinda in h-e-double hockey sticks. During this time we found out DH had been the victim of serious federal crimes two decades prior. It took hundreds of hours of me working on the case and then thousands to hire the best attorney, and although we won in court we'll never see recovery for the thousands seized... It was such a difficult period of stress, insanity (agency we were dealing with!), and disturbing unknowns and a lack of justice... DH randomly lost his job. But going through that, knowing I can survive my worst fears, kinda feels amazing! All that legal work gave me a lot of confidence, people were there for me at my lowest points, and my dad's death made me appreciate people and life like there's no tomorrow. What don't kill you makes you tough as nails. Then good things started happening. We got a townhouse, I worked on my craft to manage my stress and improved drastically, landed some good shows, and now we're expanding our family. I feel like I have direction and am not so scared of all those things that can happen in life.

2015 was good to us. Nothing bad happened and everyone is healthy and thriving. We also had some great travel opportunities and got to see a lot of friends this year who we hadn't seen in years.

Son turned 1, Lost a niece, Grieved with sister, got pregnant, partial bed rest, family vacation celebrating fil's 60th, some difficulties at church, moved apartments to diff city, looking for a new church, all the while getting bigger each day.

A very eventful year.. I would have never guessed it in jan 2015..
