Pretty much as usual. He usually sleeps until 6:30-7 on weekends and he slept til 7. I was pleased.

None of us slept - my migraine was still killing me, and DS I think is not tolerating yogurt. DH fell asleep in his bed (floor mattress). So, same old same old.

Tonight will be the real test. She's still asleep this morning.

My girls woke up at 8 which they usually do. But that means the normal 7 that they are used to.

It's past 8:30 and she's still asleep! Tomorrow is going to be rough when DH has to wake her for daycare.

It was a lot less painful when LO woke at her usual 5:15 and I could tell myself it is really 6:15.

He's been getting up around 640. Today was 755. Aka what was 655. So it was normal!

We are hoping to use this as an opportunity to move lo's bedtime and wake up time! He slept until 7 today so fingers crosed! I would love to not see the 5/6am hours for a while. The newborn wasn't really affected.

8:50 and still asleep. If she's not awake in the next half an hour, we have to wake her up.
grapefruit / 4671 posts
She woke at 8.20 which is her usual 7.20. Hopefully tomorrow is okay.

Lo usually wakes up sooo early so I loved it! She had an early (new 5am) wake up but then slept from new 6:30-8:30 and 8:30 feels deliciously, luxiouriously late

Pretty typical.
T slept 815-815 (the old 715). He didn't nap yesterday.
R slept 815-830 (the old 730) with wakes at 1230 and 445 (old 345 I guess).
My husband and I were asleep by 9

The baby slept great, but my toddler was up at five! She's usually good until 8:30. Intravenous coffee for me today.

Bedtime is at 8, and everyone was in bed asleep by 7:45 which I thought was a great start! Baby was up twice (boo) and then up early for the day at 6:55. Which I don't get - shouldn't he have slept in til 8 or so??

HATE. sigh. We tried putting her to bed a little early but only managed to get her down about 15 min early. Then we had to wake her up this morning bc we didn't want her to sleep late and be totally off. She cried. Now she's sleeping forever for nap 1 bc I woke her up before and I'll prob have to wake her again. GAH.

Took forever to get my 10 month to nap so I'm sure the rest of our naps today will be messed up. Time change needs to go away! It's pointless!

We woke her up at 630 every morning this week and today she woke up at 730, so far so good. The real test will be bed time tonight I think.

I freaked out when I woke up because I thought it had been more than 12 hours since my last shot! Then I remembered springing forward.

Well it sucked because LO lost her paci and took an hour to fall back to sleep, plus I was up a little late plus the loss of an hour put me at skipping coffee and putting my make up on in the car on the way to church, so I'm tired but it didn't seem to make a difference for LO really, which is good.

It wasnt too bad. She woke up at 7:30 (her usual 6:30am). I think the real challenge will be tonight.

Sleep was normal for Ds, he slept 830-830. We slept 10+ hours s because he slept over my parents' house!

Last night was fine. He woke up at his normal time this morning. It is today and bedtime tonight that is going to be tough.
His nap started almost an hour later, but to his body would be normal.
I'm hoping we can use the time change to move his bedtime half an hour later, but I doubt that will stick after a couple days of daycare.

We were traveling this weekend so his sleep was weird anyway. Honestly, he's just not that great a sleeper so I try (key word=try ) not to worry about stuff like this and just roll with it.

So far so good - up at 9:00 (the old 8:00). We're skipping her nap today so she will be tired and pass out at her usual 7:00 (but she'll feel like it's 6:00). I want her to have a long stretch of sleep bc I'll have to wake her for school tomorrow
eggplant / 11716 posts
She slept till the new 6:30 (the usual 5:30), so I guess it's the same. It's 6:30 right now and she still hsn't had dinner so I guess we'll have a late bedtime tonight and gradually try to push it back till 7:15 pm again.

I know this has nothing to do with spring forward but she slept for two 5 hour blocks, and woke up at 8:15 for the day. Before this 3 hours is the most she'd ever slept in a row (she's almost 6 months). Really hoping this happens again tonight! But no idea really what caused it....

Well it is 840 and she finally fell asleep. Waking her up tomorrow is going to suck.

J took a super long nap and conked out by 8:30 (pretty typical bedtime) so I hope he doesn't wake up at 4am or something!
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
Totally unphased by it in our house. Wore her out yesterday, put her down 30 min early, she slept til normal time today, wore her out, early nap...bedtime as usual!!
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
We were just on vacation with a 1 hour time difference. So got back friday but stuck to the same time yesterday and today was normal (by normal I do mean up at 6:30). When we first switched last week it was pretty easy since she was so tired from traveling and the excitement.
I can't believe all of you with babies sleeping past 8.

No issues. My daughter doesn't have any regular bed time or wake up time, so the change doesn't ever bother us much.
