It's been really easy for us. I rated it a two because there have definitely been some moments of frustration, like when she was little and cluster feeding, or in the middle of the night when I wish my husband could put her back to sleep

@Mrs. High Heels: aw thank you! I do feel pretty proud of myself for sticking with it!

I would say it was a 9, but in all honesty, I can not imagine it to have been any worst, so I voted 10.

I voted a 9 but that's not entirely accurate. The first 6 weeks? A 9. Tongue tie, lip tie, pedi fighting me about the lip tie, over-supply, engorgement, cluster feeding, weaning off the nipple shield, poor weight gain, reflux, reluctance to latch, mastitis, you name it.

However - now its a breeze and has been since around 6-7 weeks! Seriously...The difficulty level is maybe a 1, because we still use the nipple shield sometimes. There is nothing I love more than snuggling my baby boy and nursing him. He smiles at me when he's done and I just melt!

I voted 8. It would have been 2 or 3 but I had mastitis TWICE and I had never ever felt that sick ever in my life. So that automatically bumped my vote up to 8. The first few months were hard because it hurt like crazy (the latching). But after that, it was fine. Both kids latched well and my milk came in pretty quickly. But the mastitis was KILLER.

It's not the hardest thing I've ever done but it isn't the easiest either. Latch issues early on, toe curling pain from sore cracked nipples, suction issues now. I have one side that is injured but I still have to feed her off it. It hurts but getting better. The other side, there is no pain so that's great!

I voted 2. It has been so natural from the get go. Only one small bout of mastitis.

I voted 1 since I had very minimal pain and have never got a clogged duct, mastitis, thrush, low supply. I've been really lucky. I will say that it was still very emotionally difficult for me in the beginning weeks.

I voted a 1. I was incredibly lucky because I went into it with the mindset that it will be the hardest thing I've ever done (besides giving birth) the only issues I had was the nipple tenderness the first few weeks and when my milk came in my boobs were like rocks. Since then we've made it to a year of breastfeeding without any issues eg. mastistis thrush etc so I've been super lucky!

Hmmm. Let's see. Breastfeeding was hard in the beginning, mostly because it was so incredibly painful and my nipples were bleeding and cracked. I had lots of clogged ducts and mastitis at my 6-week PP checkup.

But over all, I think it was easy compared to some? I didn't have any supply issues, and although my LO dropped over a pound in the few days after she was born (from 7.13 to 6.10), I never even thought to supplement with formula. We just kept trucking along. I was confident she was getting enough because she had lots of wet diapers and I knew I had a TON of milk in there. She had a really slow growth pattern, but I never correlated it to breastfeeding.

Soo.... all that considered, I would say it was a 4 or so?

ETA: Oh, how can I forget the nipple shield. I used a nipple shield for almost 4 months! It was definitely a source of stress, but I think I used it long enough that by the time I was trying to wean, she was old enough and just figured it out on her own.

Too easy, so much that I don't know how to stop...I want to start weaning but I don't know where to start (:

I voted 2. The hardest thing was the pain and getting her to get a wide enough latch. Overall though, it was easy and I'm glad I made it through the few rough days. Looking forward to breastfeeding again, I really enjoyed it!

    2. Actually doing it was the easiest thing ever, but she nursed for hours and hours at first. Still would (at 2 years!) if I let her.

    I voted a 6. Right breast a 1; left breast a 9.

Despite a tongue tie we had no issues on my right side. Some soreness the first few days but nothing major. LO never even lost weight even though the LC was certain she was unable to feed. LO proved them wrong and put on an ounce the first night. Six ounces by our two day appointment.

My left nipple is inverted and I had a totally different experience with that one. The pain was worse than any single moment in childbirth. Kind of like someone deciding your innie belly button should be an outie and ripping it out of you. I cried every time I fed LO on that breast. I yelled at DH too - a lot. I tried several nipple shields and pumping with the SNS. A few weeks in I dropped to using it once per day so I had clogged ducts. At 10 weeks I gave up on that breast all together except when I pump for work. Now I know that I could have tried to prep my inverted nipple before birth.

At 7 months we're still going strong on my right breast.
