I picked these up this weekend at Gap but wondering how to wear them - rolled or straight? Is it just a preference?

I like them a bit more rolled. And I'd probably pair with a tight top.

Both ways! I'm thinking rolled up with a casual large T-shirt and canvas shoes/flip flops, and straight with a nicer top and shoes.

Straight. I have them and wear them that way. I don't like rolling pants, it feels weird. Like...I feel like if I'm rolling them, I should pull, flatten, then roll ala 1992.

I have some similar pants and I wear them straight to work, and rolled with boat shoes on the weekends at home. Rolled feels to casual for my workplace for sure, but fun for home!

Rolled! With cute tennis or sandals.

Depends on the shoe I think! I like rolled with boat shoes, flats, or booties (roll one extra time to be above the bootie) and straight for heels and wedges.
Except I roll my pants now with all shoes- feels more "in".
