Has anyone bought the new version of this game? I was reading the reviews and they were extremely depressing. Is the quality as bad as people on Amazon say it is?

I bought the game and it definitely isn't as nice as the ones we played with as kids.
My kids had fun with the game though. I had to put it away because keeping track of all those little balls was making me crazy -
we bought it and it was sooo hard to make the hippos "eat"
Bummed because I loved this game as a kid!

@chopsuey: @Mamaof2: oh that's so sad to hear!! I watched a video on Amazon and it looked like the hippos didn't eat as well as the set we had as kids.

Kinda sad it doesn't work as well as the old version, because I don't remember the old version being super high quality either!!
