It's official! I am breastfeeding the longest out of everyone I know.
One friend quit after 6 months, another just quit at just after 6 months. Some friends and family quit within the first month or two.
It makes me giddy to be the last mom standing!!

Me too - after only a week. No one in my family breastfed (Except one aunt but we don't see each other that often), and none of my close friends have kids.

I don't know many people who breastfed. Those who did lasted 6 months. I'm going on 9 now. It's amazing how easy it is when it works for you.

@mediagirl: the people I know who quit had NO issues. They just decided it had become too much work pumping at work. Which it IS so I def do not judge them for it.
I'm just giddy I'm on top! hehe

@regberadaisy: oh yeah, same here. I just know for some people it just doesn't work. It's pretty cool to hit these milestones, isn't it? I made it 3 months! I made it 6 months! I made it NINE months!!!

I have to go past 18 months to beat out the ladies I know who breastfeed. We'll see!
Oh wait, my little sister still nurses at night and she's 3. Dayum. Oh well.
