DH would talk about how he was worried he would accidentally hit her head on a door frame since be is so wide shouldered. I thought there was no way I would do anything like that. Well, I should eat my words because I just bumped her head on the door frame. Her peds office opens up at 8 am and I'll call then. She jut ate and her pupils looked the same. She cried for two seconds and then I calmed her down, but I feel AWFUL!!!

Oh, poor mama! It is always so heartbreaking when we accidentally do things like that to our LO's. I can;t even tell you how many times DS has hurt himself while in my care (happened just yesterday when he banged his head on the door while running around). I'm sure she is just fine but it's worth a call just to make sure. Try not to beat yourself up about it though-accidents happen!!

Um, I did this like every other day when Sadie was a newborn. We lived in an old 1950's bungalow with super narrow doorways. The first time I cried and cried, and we googled "baby concussion" for like half an hour. You'll get used to it - Sadie hits her head like every day now!

That was one of my greatest fears when A was a newborn. It's just so easy to do! I'm sure she is okay. Hugs!

I've done that! Also dropped him on the floor head-first (from my lap on the couch, so not too far of a drop, but still). Babies are pretty resilient, so I'm sure she's fine!

Totally a mommy rite of passage- welcome to the club! It won't be the last time either! We try to be careful, but somehow always bump C's head getting in and out of the car with the rear facing convertible car seat.

big hugs! you'll be okay (she is too, but it hits us harder I Think!). I've done that to O so many times...more as she's been older because she'll lean backward off my hip angry/looking at something/excited/etc and I won't give us enough clearance. I always feel terrible. I hit her head so hard a few weeks ago, she sobbed and sobbed
she was ok though!
