I'm a "wash your hands" crazy lady!!!!! I found out that my husband and his sister don't wash their hands after they use the bathroom if they only go number 1!!! Excuse me?!!!? What kind of home training is that? I even asked his mom- are you serious!?!? They touch door handles, faucets, and I'm gagging now thinking about the public restroom. So, every time my husband comes out the bathroom, I ask, "Did you wash your hands?" If not, go right back in there and wash your hands! UGH. He will use a knife to cut up raw chicken, and then wash it off with water and put it back with the other knives. Were you raised in a barn?!?! I know your family is from south Georgia (and not all south Georgians are like this) but damn people have some health and safety standards! They also thaw meat on the deck in the hot sun. Oh lord, I'm on a roll. Let me end it here!

So this is how come people get food posioning! Washing your hands, especially with chicken is so important!

@Mae: That may or may not be a phrase in our home! "Wash your damn hands!" The bathroom hand washing is the worst for me! And yes, he says, "oh we're not dead yet." Yet, somehow him and his sis stay in the doctor's office...

I tell Dh to wash his hands every time he walks in the door- he takes public transportation!

@dc yoga bee: so gross but he has the same policy about washing his hands after the bathroom. So gross- though I think he does after using a public restroom for number 1. He says he doesn't touch anything gross, I say 1) you touch the toilet to flush, and 2) it's a good opportunity to wash your hands anyway. Gross.

I ask DH 'did you feed the dogs?' 'Did they potty?' About 6 times a day. He HATES it. The pups are in the basement so I'm not down there as much and I micromanage. Horribly. Haha poor hubster.
