LO toddler talk...
I want one too (every morning when DH brushes her hair) really means I want one and two. As in two ponytails....duh!
Have you deciphered any toddler talk?

hahaha, that's awesome!!! Congratulations!!!
Xander's not doing that much talking yet - so I have yet to figure out what any of his babbling means besides "Mama" and "Dada". Except he says "Dada" to almost everything, so I'm not sure what he's really trying to say.

F is only 18 months and still signs if we don't get it, BUT this morning he was grabbing my big toe and staring at me and then suddenly grab my leg and scream. I was like " what has possessed you?!" After two times I realized he was playing "This Little Piggy" and the scream was the wee-wee-wee part!

@autumnlove: so cute! My LO requests piggies when I brush her hair
@JoyfulKiwi: that is so hilarious! Love it! You definitely need to record that
When my LO first started her 2s class she would sing all kinds of songs we didn't know. One in particular would start out "I am special...you are special...gotta be you...gotta be me". We thought it was so cute. Later we find out the words aren't "gotta be you/me" it was "God made you/me". We almost died laughing when we figured it out

I'm still trying to figure out "camel sheep". When I ask her what she had for breakfast at daycare she always says "camel sheep".
But yesterday she was asking me to sing "yope" and I had no idea what she meant. Then later in the day I started singing "home on the range" and she said "yope!" So she meant antelope!

Ha ha, I did à double take yesterday when my toddler called me a bitch - she was actually saying "fish". Visits to the aquarium are going to be super fun!

We're getting some good ones lately. He kept saying "bis" at home and pointed to his snack cup. No idea what he wanted. Turns out daycare gives them some Goldfish which he calls "fish." At home we have the Trader Joe's equivalent called rockets. So "bis" = "fish" = "rockets" at our house.

Mama ama....over and over. I finally realized he was saying "mama llama" from his llama llama book! In the end the llama hugs his mama and he wants me to hug him when he says it

@JennyD: camel sheep could be types of Animal Crackers maybe? Both are in the Barnum's Animals box!

Took us so long to figure out that "cere bar bar" is cereal bar (Nutrigrain bar) we also had to learn that "bite" is cracker.

Lo has that FP soothing seahorse (not sure what it's exactly called) and she was shouting "nay nay!" and I couldn't figure out that she was actually referring to the seahorse. She knows horses say "neigh" and one day I asked her what seahorse says, and of course, she said, "neigh!" So now the seahorse has grown to be called her "naynay."

Hahaha love figuring those out.
Right now, "no ne" is popular. I think it's "not me" but I'm not certain yet!

We are in a phase of curiosity right now... everything is either "isssttthh?" ("what's this") or "oueeesssss?" ("what's that"). Or at least that's what we can make of it!

Aaaw... that's cute! Mine wasn't toddler talk but it took me a minute to figure it out still! Today, my almost 2-year-old was saying, "water, water, water!!!" And I had no idea what he was saying b/c he usually says water in Chinese. Duh...
