I just went to his daycare and popped his arm back in for the second time in the past year. It's happened to him at least 7 times since he was a year and a half. I thought he would have outgrown it by now!
It's so satisfying when I feel his elbow pop back in. I wrote a post about it a while back in case your lo ever gets nursemaid's elbow!

My younger brother had nursemaid's elbow, and it seems like my parents were always popping his arm back in! At the time it seemed so bizarre! I didn't know it was quite common.

Nice work, mama! I show all the parents who come into the ED how to do that, but I do recommend that the first time they bring the child in for an evaluation, lest there be the rare accompanying fracture.
But kids that get it once seem to get it again and the more you get it, the higher the risk of a repeat occurrence.
