I was rushing home with some take-out for DH who was practically crying out of hunger tonight and I got pulled over:(
I got let off with a warning for speeding but man...It just ruined my night! I feel like poo.....
I'm really a law-abiding citizen! I just slipped up

I've only been pulled over twice (once by myself, and once with hubs). The first time, I was at fault but the cop was really nice to me. I still got ticketed but at least he wasn't a jerk. The second time hubs got off with a warning and the cop was, again, very nice to us.
My mom, though, got pulled over once and the cop was SO mean to her and totally intimidated her. I hate that. THAT would ruin my day,

H got pulled over AND got a speeding ticket the other day. It totally ruined the rest of the 5 hour drive. 
But, he ALWAYS speeds-- he's a very good, very safe driver, but he always speeds, so it was bound to happen at some point.

oh no! i know how crappy that feels. I hope you can shake it off and enjoy your evening. You are extremely lucky they left you off with a warning.

I have 15 speeding tickets, so it really doesn't phase me. I have never just gotten a warning though! Dang!

@Rubies: Yeah mine was super nice too. I never had a mean one. I feel so bad for your mom:( I would cry if a man in uniform was mean to me. The lights...the car and the badge just scare me.
@Foodnerd81: my husband too....he is a very "aware" driver but he speeds regularly. He is from the city and we now live in suburbia (like Stepford Wives suburbia) So, he totally isn't used to it yet. He gets tickets seasonly but fights them in court:/

@anonysquire: hahaha aww, 15?!?! I think I got the warning because he could see the food in my car and the frazzled look on my face. And my husband kept calling, so that made the police officer further believe my story!

@TurtleDoves: Note to self: Always have food in the car and a frazzled face lol. I actually just got my license back from being suspended for a year. I swear I'm not a bad driver, just fast!
