@bunnylove08: I got the hobo in plum! Sooo excited.

@mrs. wagon: I know! I really wanted the San Ysidro but the regular hobo will do just as well!

I just got my Danzo Hobo in plum today and I'm a little saddened by how heavy it is. DH weighed himself with and without the bag and it was over 5 pounds! I love, love, love it but I'm worried it will be too heavy once I put all of the baby's stuff in there. Please convince me it won't be too heavy :(. Size-wise it's great though because I've always carried big bags.

I ordered the San Ysidro off MyHabit and I got it today and LOVE it! I haven't used it yet but I love the colour, the stripes on the inside, the size... I dont think it's big at all, I was actually expecting it to be bigger!

@swedishfish: 5 lbs?! It didn't seem that heavy to me. I have tins of stuff in there and it's totally not heavy!

@QBbride: what color did you get??? I'm still loving my bag but I especially loved having it when we flew from Seattle to Alabama...I fit so much in it and the shoulder strap made it easy to carry all around.

I don't notice that it's so heavy but it is a big bag...so I do notice how big/bulky when I'm carrying it (like walking down the aisle on the plane)

@sandy: I got it in grass green! I have a black stroller with a black frame (UBV) so I figure it will give a nice pop of colour. I can't wait to use it! I have another 3 months to go though! (3 months today till my due date, yipee!)

@QBbride: I have the UBV too (in the cole/slate blue) :). You sound all prepared for your LO...so exciting!

They're $164 on Gilt. They have a really nice blue one I didn't see on the Danzo website!

@ladyfingers: @QBbride: Ahhh, this is so tempting! We're registered for a unisex diaper bag, but I LOVE this bag. Trying to figure out if $160 for a diaper bag just for me is wasteful...

It is a very cute bag and very organized. $160 is more than I would spend on a purse. Though a diaper bag is a lot more functional than a purse. Maybe when I get pregnant, I'll use some baby shower gift money to pay for it.

@sandy: do you still like this? Does the strap length work well? Does it bother you it doesn't zip close?

@T.H.O.U.: I still love it. I think the perfect diaper bag doesn't exist...everything is a trade off. I'm a SAHM in the suburbs so I drive a lot and also use a stroller a lot for outings. So I don't notice that it's heavy like lots of people say. I like that the fabric is nice and thick. I've had it for a year and it doesn't look worn or faded. What I love most is the shoulder strap - so comfortable and easy to wear. It's nice and thick so it doesn't cut into your shoulder at all. It doesn't bother me all that it doesn't zip closed at the top. It stands upright and doesn't flop over so it's not like anything ever falls out. It's a super big bag so it has a wide base and doesn't ever just tip over. A nice big bag with a comfortable shoulder strap was most important to me and for those reasons I love it! And it still looks pretty much brand new after a year of intense daily use
