Miss A will be going to her aunties for two nights (ahhh), so today DH and I have the day to spend together but have no idea what to do. We haven't had a whole day to spend together since our anniversary last November. We want to keep it on the cheaper side but are willing to spend a little bit to do something fun.
I need some date day ideas, what do you like to do for date days?

I'd go see a movie, then a coffee shop or brewery and just sit and talk.
We have a date day today and we're going to a fb game today and then dinner somewhere super busy with a long wait so we can sit, relax, and talk

If it were me and I were trying not to spend too much money we'd go out for lunch and then go to the batting cages - it's fun and kind of active. Then we'd stop by the butcher and BBQ dinner at home and rent a movie.

@Bao: me neither... but any movie sounds good if I can sit in the back of the theater and make out with my husband Luckily morning sickness has passed, so I can kiss him without throwing up, lol!

Brunch/lunch and an indoor activity if it's rainy! Bowling, indoor mini golf...? Do you have any free or affordable museums near you? Or a mall you could window shop/people watch at? Then cook a nice dinner and watch a movie together tonight!

I would go for lunch, get a couples massage, go for a bike ride, pick up some dinner (or get something adult-only to cook like lobster) and relax at home!

I was going to suggest apple picking, before I saw that it's rainy out.
How about a local coffee shop that has board games? A open mic/comedy night? A few beers and a game of pool?

Definitely go for a long long meal. Maybe turn off everything, put on a movie and lounge at home. Enjoy your home while there is peace and quiet!

Yea no drinking for me we ended up going to a late lunch, walking the mall, and then rented a movie so we are getting cozy already at 5pm and I have no shame!
