Stage makeup is different than everyday makeup. I would just buy cheap drugstore brands and look at some stage makeup tutorials. Regular makeup application and colors can wash you out on stage. If you want to go the department store route and buy makeup you can use again in real life, I like Origins. It's all natural and plant based.

You'll need much heavier makeup for the stage. I agree with @lemonlong, you could try buying darker shades of foundation, concealer, blush/bronzer at the drugstore. If you'd rather use higher end products, Makeup Forever (at Sephora) or MAC (at a department store) make highly pigmented, full coverage makeup.

For more natural options, I'd try Tarte or Origins. I love Tarte's makeup, it's formulated without any harsh chemicals.
